The doll is well made, gorgeous faceup and the outfit is detailed and well made.

The doll was rather loosely strung, but that is a matter of taste.
The outfit delayed my entire order. After two months I contacted them about a status update and they told me they were waiting for the pants of the outfit. It took them another 3 weeks to get it. It's a shame that an outfit, that is sold as a set, isn't alsways completely in stock.

Yes. It feels so worth the price. Such a beautiful doll.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Honestly, even better. The doll is definitely the one I ordered but in person there are details you can't see in pictures.

Absolutely

The only negative I have is I got notified the doll shipped after I already had it.
The body poses great. Is aesthetically attractive to me. Just looks so sweet.
It shipped fast too. Just barely after the 3 month mark.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Yes. I would buy this exact doll again and have an army.

I have a Spiritdoll Echium and a Spiritdoll Proud girl body (1st vers), both secondhand

* When did you order?
Echium came secondhand from the MP in early 2018 and the Proud body came from the MP in late summer 2018

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
They are both lovely dolls! I prefer the Proud girl body aesthetically. It's very curvy and womanly without being cartoonish. The posing is really nice, and the hands are detailed and elegant. Echium's male Proud body is way less defined and less aesthetically-pleasing by comparison. The scale of the two are also strangely off, as the Proud girl is much shorter than her male counterpart.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes. The Proud girl body is actually much curvier and mature than the sales pictures.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes. They're both very beautiful! I'd order directly from the company in future, especially more of the female sculpts.

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)
Echium
+The tan version is gorgeous! He's not too orangey and he's not too bronzed. Just right.
+His face! With the right faceup he's got so much personality! And also he'll look nothing like the promo pics (which make him look terrible, IMO)
+ His hands and feet are gorgeously sculpted.
- His body is so noodly and undefined yet defined in all the wrong ways. I can count his vertebrae but his torso is a cartoony flat plane. It's very unsettling.
- Even with modding to make him pose better, his body isn't great at more dynamic poses. His torso is especially funny, and his legs aren't flexible enough to sit comfortably
- He's not to scale with the Proud girl body, and looms like a giant preying mantis over her.

+ Lots of curves for a more petite mature female body
+ Excellent posing. She can touch her face and neck and she sits very comfortably
- She's TINY compared to the Proud boy (Echium). She's much shorter and more like a teenager's scale/height than an adult woman's.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Definitely. Their female sculpts are so pretty and I know the bodies will be lovely and dynamic.

* What did you order?
Spiritdoll Grace65cm boy body (3-part torso), with colour matching. They offered two choices of resin type (standard that is more opaque, or imported resin that's a bit translucent and costs a bit more), and I picked their standard resin.

* When did you order?
June 2025, direct from Spiritdoll's Taobao store.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, but Grace65's measurements provided by Spiritdoll on their Taobao page were inaccurate. My doll ended up not being 65cm tall as I expected, but 62cm tall instead.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
No, for two reasons:

(1) The colour matching was decent but not excellent. Compared to my resin sample (from Switch/Humming Dolly), Spiritdoll's colour matched resin looked more flat and dull, as if there was too much white in the mixture. However, colour perception is subjective, so I was willing to accept this resin colour. In retrospect, I probably should've picked the imported resin type, so that was my oversight.

(2) I bought Grace65 boy for a hybrid (to Illusion Garden Johan). I was expecting my hybrid doll to be 65cm tall, which was advertised on Grace65's product page and its official measurements. My hybrid ended up being 61-62cm tall. I used the measuring tape on Grace65 -- all my measurements checked out with Spiritdoll's official measurements, except the height. Compared to two other known 65cm bodies (Volks SD17 boy and Doll Family-H 65cm boy), this body is shorter than them.

In short, Spiritdoll provided inaccurate official data, so I ended up with a doll body that wasn't the height I expected. I was expressly looking for a 65cm body, not a 62cm one, so I found the Grace boy body to be unsuitable for my hybrid. I'd done my due diligence including ask another doll owner on DoA to provide photos of their Grace boy. So I'm disappointed that my research was based on flawed data, and didn't realize until I received the doll and measured it myself. I've sinced confirmed with the other Spiritdoll Grace owner that this doll is shorter than expected.


* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)
(positive) Good-looking sculpting and a solidly made body.
(neutral/negative) The double-jointing is last-generation and a bit clunky and kicky compared to more contemporary BJDs. I personally find the body not that pleasant to handle, but some of it can be solved with sueding and wiring.

* Would you buy more from this company?
Maybe, if they had something I really wanted.
