1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. I once saw someone in Facebook asking for magnet boy parts for earrings. But I've never saw anything else. Are you planning on making something? Oh... a lot of eye artists also make earrings out of eyes i saw.

    3. I once had a MNF hand I accidentally stepped on, and after breaking off a finger I gifted it to a friend. They painted the broken off bit red and then made an earring out of the hand for their wardrobe (they mostly wear gothic and horror inspired stuff)

    5. I love the idea of doll parts as jewely! Super cute, I'd kill for forearm earrings lol

    6. @Gintsumi I remember seeing those Freak's Circus pieces. I happen to love sculptural pieces of jewelry that look like doll parts. I have silver necklace made by Yolanda C Studio (she's made small BJDs entirely out of silver) that's almost like a faceplate. I am a big fan of jewelry that look like eyes and hands.

I've thought about buying a pair of delicately sculpted and posed mini size hands, painting or leafing them gold and using enamel paint to give them slightly dimensional rings. Or maybe tracing fine line tattoo or henna patterns on them and then finishing it with high gloss. I'm lazy about projects though, so if anyone wants to take the idea and run with it I'd love to see!

    7. I've seen a lot of stuff like this done with barbies (feel free to google image "barbie face earring" and behold the results, but these are my favourites) which I find alternately horrifying and delightful (which is kind of my aesthetic sweet spot...!) I love the idea of doing similar things with BJD parts! I think they'd look amazing.

    9. I’ve seen a few like that— however it was made from old porcelain European bjds at some kind of oddity shop…

    10. If I could no longer collect dolls because of the cost, I would collect BJD shoes. I am amazed at the craftsmanship in shoes made for dolls. I have 2 pairs of shoes that are not for any of my dolls. I bought them because I liked them and was amazed at the detail.
A for Barbie accessories, I used to have a pair of earrings made from Barbie high heel shoes.

    11. That's certainly interesting! It reminds me of some jewelry pieces I saw a long time ago that were basically doll parts/faces turned into pendants and earrings. I can't remember who made them, but it's a nice (if slightly creepy haha) idea to try out.

    12. omg that's a great idea for reusing damaged or broken parts. You could even kintsugi them back together with some gold
