      *sigh* I just knocked two dolls off my wishlist and here is another one to add.
      I love his realism but I'm not sure if he's too young for my brood. I know the girl head is a bit young in relation to my other dolls. Decisions, decisions.

    2. I love his sculpt. It's a little odd when you look at the blank pics on the Alice in Labyrinth site but in a way I happen to really dig.:aheartbea

      I paid for my head yesterday and AiL wrote to say he'll be shipped to me after the tenth! I can't wait to have him home. I don't quite know how I'm going to fit him into my group yet but I'm batting a couple of ideas back and forth. The AiL resin is supposed to match Volks but I'm not so sure I want another Volks body.

      I'm curious to see what the next head "Chloe" will look like too.

    3. I'm not sure if I should order yet. I'm waiting for super gem to be released before I can make up my mind. But I'm afraid Bertram would be out of stock soon!

    4. I have my Alice head on volks pureskin NS, and it is not a really good match. I'm not picky about it, but the AiL resin has a pink undertone which becomes even more obvious next to the yellower volks resin; under certain lighting, (sunlight) it becomes more pronounced, with the AiL resin looking very white. Souldoll resin is a little pink so i'm hoping that the new boy i bought will match Bertram.

      I'm still ticked off that I was hasty and didn't e-mail AiL first, since i ended up paying $40 more than i had to:| .Oh well, you live and learn:sweat .

      I can't wait for Chloe either, and if AiL follows the same pattern we should be seeing her in a month or two:dance. I am totally in love with every mold this company releases!!!

    5. He's only available until December 16th. It sounds like they will make as many Bertram heads as are ordered before then. Unless Alice in Labyrinth sells more on Y!J after that date, you'll have to buy him second hand.

      (That new Super Gem Spinel is really awesome. I will be needing another boy body real soon. <_< >_> )

      Toxic*Resin - Do you have any other resins in your house that do match the AiL normal skin? I'd rather not put this head on a body type I already have. I wonder if it would be more like pinky Dream of Doll resin or Soom or Senior Delf Real skin?

    12. Okay, I'm going to take the plunge. If I can't get him to fit in with the rest of my collection I'm sure there will be plenty of collectors who had missed him and would love to own him. Now to look for a body. I want mine to be in the 62-65cm range and nothing lanky. I'm so glad there are so many more bodies available than just a year ago.

      I don't know what to do about the body yet. He'd look great on a Dollstown boy body but I don't want something that ripped for my character. I'm sure I'll think of sumthin'.

    14. I will report back here with photos on how it matches the following bodies:

      - Senior Delf (Luts)
      - Dollshe normal and white skin
      - Iplehouse boy body
      - Normal Luts boy body (type 2...i think??)
      - Volks Pureskin

      PS: can't wait to see everyone's boys when they've arrived and done up :D

    16. mine shipped yesterday, so am hoping he gets home on monday since I fly out for a month on monday night heh. Did you get the email about all orders made before the 10th getting a free wig? Nice of them...I'm really impressed with their english and customer service.

    17. Ahh! I didn't realise they were giving free wigs for orders until the 10th only lol! I just thought they chucked it in there as a bonus?? There's a good chance your head would arrive Friday if it's sent yesterday night. That aside happy holidays!! A month long trip wow I'm super jealous! And yes! I'm most impressed with their communication and service too :D

    19. Anybody get their Bertram Head yet? I would love to see pics! I ordered an Alice head, and when it arrives I will be able to compare it to Dollmore and DIM. It should be arriving today! And soon as I get it I let everyone know about the resin comparison and hopefully between Helene and I we will be able to find a match!

    20. I got my Alice head today and she is just beautiful! I compared her to my DIM Andrea and the DIM resin was far too pink (I didn't even bother to take a pic of it). I also compared it to my Dollmore Kido Pado Girl and is was pretty close, the Dollmore resin was a shade lighter. Maybe something a little darker than Dollmore. The AiL resin almost seems to be a little bit more brown. I hope this helps!
