1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

AJUMAPAMA USA NEWS

May 19, 2005

    1. After much deliberation, AjumaPama is going to keep international sales going. They have given this much thought and have decided that if they cut back on some of their agents that they might be able to lower their shipping costs making it a more feasible and less costly situation for them.

I am pleased that they have asked me to stay on as their USA agent. They will also be keeping Domuya in Singapore and their agent in Japan.

I do feel terrible telling everyone that AjumaPamaUSA was closing down and rushing you to place orders. To show appreciation I will be giving a 10% refund on all orders placed on May 12th through the 15th, the period which this announcement was made. I will also extend the 10% refund to all new orders received before June 1st as a thank you for your understanding.

My emotions are very mixed. Honored that they asked me to stay on and terrible that I caused any of you to spend money hastily to get the items that weren't going to be available, so we thought. The best way I know to do this is honestly. I hope you will continue to support AjumaPamaUSA.

      Sincerely,
      Karin

    2. speaking of Ajumapama...

Ajumapama UK aren't answering my emails. Ive tried for a couple of weeks now to no avail.
I only want to know if what I have paid for is on its way or just.....what's happened to it.

    3. As long as they keep making such nice clothes, I'll happily support them. ^^

And don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault!

    4. Bwiel,
I know that even if AjumaPama UK is closing they are honoring all orders placed. I wish I could tell you why they haven't answered your emails, but I can't. Lynn will probably see this post and get back to you.

Thanks Krambear! It is appreciated! I know it wasn't my fault but I don't like treating people like that.

    5. Hi Bwiel - I don't recognise your email from your nickname. I run AJP UK, and we have answered all emails we've received in the last few weeks. It's possible that your emails are being rejected by the spam filters at our ISP mail server. Try re-sending your email with the word "work" in the title.

      Many thanks, Marc

    6. done! :D

    7. Got it ... reply on it's way !

    8. Aww.. Karin don't worry for a second. I was one of the "OMG must buy these things" people and I can say I'm not mad at all. IRL things happen. So don't feel bad... I'm just glad they are staying "in the game"

    9. Oh so that's what the refund was for. Don't worry I am actually quite happy I purchased that wig, as is the doll that it goes for. I was going to buy it eventually and thus regret nothing.

I am happy that they are keeping you on, I love their stuff and you are pleasent to deal with. ^_^

    10. that's good news, though! It's not your fault, Karin! Thanks for being so generous

    11. Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am glad they are staying around also. I felt like one of those "fire sales everything must go" and I don't want people to think about the way I do business like that.
