Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. Anthro dolls?

    1. Hey guys,

      I'd post this in Newbieland if I had permissions, but I suppose I'll ask you fabulous people.
      Is there a current wiki or database or anything with different Anthro bjd dolls? I'm in love with the DearMine ladies, but they seem hard to get.
      Or if there's no database, whats your guys' favourite Anthro makers? I'm partial to cute rather than unique, like Dear Mine's Priscilla and Aileendoll's Seed.. ahh.. so cute.

    2. I don't know if there's a database, but I'm happy to share the ones I know of.
      Pipos make them in a range of sizes from very small to the height of a YoSD. They make some that are even bigger, but less cute.
      Zuzu Delfs made by Luts, are available as both basic and limited versions.
      Doll Factory has a Pet Ari line of anthros that are quite cute.
      Soom has made of few limited ones as part of their Cutiepie line.
      Fairyland's Puki Puki line includes Pukisha, who has a cat face, and the also sell the cat hands, ears, and feet to go with it. They also make parts for a Puki Puki pig, and a Pukifee cat.

      The one's I like best are Pipos's frogs and Pukisha!

    3. I'm not sure if a database exists (I wish one did!), but apart from the above there is also the Mushroom Peddler, though most of her dolls are off-topic for DoA.

      Aileendoll and Dearmine are my two favorite companies, but it seems that new anthros pop up now and then from various companies!

      Dolk and Denver Doll Emporium are two dealers I have used for many anthro dolls: DDE has Dearmine, Pipos, and Fairyland, and Dolk has Aileendoll, Dearmine, and Pipos, I believe!

    4. You could search for anthros in the wiki, there are some results, but some are really dated. :/
      There are a lot of companies or doll makers that will only release an anthro version once or so.
      I like Iplehouse's Anthro versions, Dollmore's Catish Doll line and also Luts' Tiny Anthros. Dollzone released some tinies in the past, but they are mostly LEs now.

    5. Dearmine dolls aren't really "hard to get." They have a line of basics, which are available year round! And as someone who has bought from them multiple times, I can assure you their customer service is great. :)

    6. You should take a look at Plasticmoon too *u* mr Kitty is the absolute best thing that has happened to me since the beginning of the hobby~ Although I suppose his 'cuteness' is of the rather more... unique kind. xP;

      Luts is also making KDF Zuzu delfs now which is wonderful considering the variety of sculpts they offer in their original zuzu line >v<

      And Dollzone also has some really cool-looking anthros, especially for yo-sd size uvu

    7. Dream High Studio has mini-sized Ossia, a deer anthro BJD. Resin Soul has some YOSD sized dogs. Then you might (or might not) count DollChateau's Elizabeth. And then there are Doll Family TuTu, Coco Tribe Dolls, and Aileen Doll cat girls.

      Most of these are limited, but some (like RS dogs, or TuTu) are available still. And I am sure, there are more of anthro dolls, but these were the first that came to my mind.

    11. Lutz made a Model Delf named Leo who is pretty awesome. There was a girl too. They were Limit ed Editions but they're really nice 44 cm anthros

    12. Hey everyone!

      I've been into the BJD hobby for quite a while now, and my family has grown extensively. Since the very beginning I've been interested in getting some anthro dolls, but haven't ever gotten around to it until this last month. I got a Lupy from Dearmine, which I absolutely love. I've also seen the Pipos Cheshire in person and was very impressed by him.

      However I'm wondering, what other companies make nice anthro BJDs? I know Luts makes some as well, but I figure there has to be more. What are your experiences with these other companies and what do you like about their dolls?

    13. Dearmine, Pipos and LUTS are...mostly it, actually.

      Doll Chateau / DollZone make some pretty cat girls.

      SOOM has made some cat anthros, and little dragons. AileenDoll makes some anthro cats too, to go along with their petdoll cats. Um. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. ^^ The selection is SADLY limited, but what's out there is truly beautiful. <3 We need more!

      That said, Dearmine is my favorite by far. I own a Dearmine Diana (their 60CM cat girl) and she is just beautiful. I love her hands, I just blushed them the other day! They are also super super sweet.

    15. I have also been looking around for anthro dolls, but haven't found any that are to my liking yet. I'm not in a hurry though to find one. What kind of anthros are you looking for? I would love to find a doll with horse or dragon legs (but not with huge feet!) But I have a feeling that when the time comes I'll have to come up with something myself. You never know though :)
