Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I've searched and searched, but found no discussion thread devoted to this little beauty.​

      I'd like this thread to be a clearing house of information, gossip and news for all things Aren! Post pics of your finds, recent purchase. What works and what didn't.​

      Like many of you, I was attracted to Aren because of her size. For the playability factor but also so I'd have a use for the HUNDREDS of Barbie outfits I still had!​

      I bought my girl second hand only because she was made available for sale by her owner at the same time I was going to buy her new from the site. Vadne (named for a character from Piers Anthony's Xanth series) is a "You Must Love Me" Aren. I was going to buy either her or the Alice version. I think in the end I would have bought YMLM even if I bought new because I like her more mature face-up.​

      So here are some pics I took of Vadne today. I just got the Luts 1/6th scale beige pumps yesterday and they fit PERFECTLY. Gonna hafta jump on a group order to get more!​

    5. A little "heads up" (forgive the pun) for those on the hunt for wigs: JPop's Puki Puki wigs can work. I've bought two (and stupidly sold one, which I vow to re-purchase) and they work well.

    7. Check the market place under Dolls/Tiny Size. There aren't any there now, just a really lovely tan one! :love

      You could also try to join a Soom group order that accepts doll orders.

      Yeah, and that's why I did it! I have a place to discuss most of my other girls, but with Tinies it's difficult. There are SO many and yet it's hard to find clear cut, YES or NO information on things like clothes, shoes and wigs. That's what I'm hoping this thread will be. Cus I got a girl who wants it all!

    8. Thanks, I am looking. I have a Uyoo with no face up. I ordered her that way by mistake. :doh

      I am thinking of sending her head back for face up and ordering Aren at the same time to save on shipping. I just need to put away a few more dollie $. I liked the innocent look of Uyoo angel, but have since fallen hard for Aren You Must Love Me.

      They will make nice friends. I have a lot of Momoko clothes I think will fit them. Just have to be patient, I guess. In the meantime, your girl is gorgeous. Thanks for the pics.

    9. I just bought a couple of Madame Alexander tops from the Coquette doll, a white cotton wrap top and a red sleece casual top. They fit PERFECTLY. I have another Coquette outfit (a two piece skirt and top w/dots) that fits wells but not perfect. I'll have to see what else is out there that fits!

      OH! And a bonus pic of Vadne in said white top!

    13. I'd bet she could wear Tonner's Tiny Kitty things as well, as TK and Madame Alex Coquette wear the same things. Do Blythe shoes fit? I have a ton of gorgeous outfits from Azone's Faires of Darkness series and I'd love to get a mini-gem. YMLM is my #1, although the tan one is fab. Hard to pick a fav with so many gorgeous Aren's.
      Love those fairy outfits, erinpcf--you're very talented.

    14. Vadne can wear alot of my TK stuff, but she's a big longer in the waist, so one piece items like swimsuits don't work. The pants work well, just not perfect. I only have the two MA Coquette tops, so I can't say without a doubt that ALL Coquette things work, but I'll make the sacrifice and spend MORE money on Vadne to find out!

      As for the shoes, I don't know about Blythe shoes, I don't have any. I've been buying shoes & boots that fit Lati Yellow's from e-Bay. I'vr had a bit of luck with some Stacey shoes - she's one of Barbie's sisters, a bigger doll than Kelly. Also, the Luts 1/6 shoes fit PEFECTLY!

      I'm finally getting my Mini Gem later this year! The You Must Love Me version is my absolute favorite Aren and I've planned on getting her for almost a year. I keep worrying that she will look too heavily made up and out-of-place in the Barbie Fashion Fever clothes I plan to get for her, though. I think I had more of a young, youthful Aren in mind than a sexy vamp!

    17. What a great thread! I love my You Must Love Me Aren, Miranda... And I've had good luck with all my old Barbie clothes, Tiny Kitty and some My Scene clothes - as well as Azone clothes and shoes, and some Jenny clothing too. Good stuff - and so tiny and easy to move around. I have furniture that I had for my Tiny Kitty's (who get no attention at all, sad to say, what with them being so darned cute) - and Miranda just is spoiled rotten with all of it! Pics!

    19. Her face is beautiful! It's wonderful that Soom can infuse such a little face with so much personality and expression! I think YMLM looks a little sad/pouty, too. I see hers as more of a 1950's movie star pouty, though. :D

      Your girl is beautiful! I have the one of her in the Tinybear wig saved in my Mini Gem folder. :sweat

      I love how tiny Aren is. My two SD13 girls are a chore to lug around and pose (sorry, girls!) but Aren would be perfect to snatch up and run out to the garden for a photoshoot! I also love to needlepoint and there are tons of needlepoint furniture patterns for Barbie-sized dolls! I plan to get this book and make her her very own house. Or, I wonder if she'd prefer a Dream Castle? :lol:

    20. I have an Aren. I did her faceup which isn't great but I'm pleased with it. It's amazing what the camera picks up that the eye doesn't. She will have eyelashes at some time. Still, I like it. She is such a great poser too. I just want a new wig for her now.
