  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. BJD bugs️

    1. Hi everyone. I only recently started collecting BJDs and came across some humanoid bug like BJDs from Dream Valley, Xagadoll and Coralreef, I was wondering if there are other brands that create dolls inspired by bugs? Or make things like wings and such?

      I would love to see any BJDs inspired by bugs like spiders, snails, moths, beetles and so on. Or dolls with a few extra arms or eyes.

    2. Nyxy's Creations has(d) spider bjds...Silk! They came in a variety of colours and were detailed and articulated a little better than some of the other "spider" bjds like Xaviera.

    3. There are quite a few bugs out there, including spiders, snails, beetles, caterpillars, but I suspect most of them are off-topic.
      Check out Nympheas dolls, Quirky Qritters, Eve Studio Dolls, and The Mushroom Peddler.

    4. There is also Elisabeth by Doll Chateau, she is a spider. They have also made Larry The Snail and Beatrice and Nehemie (they were the Dragonflies I think).
      I owned a Beatrice, she was stunning.

      Oh my god the Quirky Qritters are so cute! They even have tiny little bees <3 and the Eve Studio Dolls are so realistic. :XD:

    7. Off Topic, Mishi's Doll Bee Happy is a little 7cm bee and truly adorable! MissNekotaku on Etsy has a spider doll,
      Sküllaranæ, which I own and is very cute and good quality for a 3D print doll. Chromacritters on Instagram makes Celeste, a moth inspired girl with extra arm options.

      On Topic, Coral Reef/Whale Island Spider Cat! This is Sweet Neva, she is the Spider Cat head on their rabbit body, but there is also a spider body. Mine has the open mouth head and is without the magnetic cat ears. It was a limited doll, but I think some of the dealers may have various versions still in stock.

      5Star Doll Jadeite is a mantis around YoSD size and a little cutie! They currently have blue and green in stock and on sale, and they're good to deal with. I don't think they do preorders anymore, they tend to just make whatever they feel like and list it in stock. They usually have Jadeite available, but the colors vary. Usually blue, pink, purple or various shades of green.

      Sort of buggy but not truly a bug, Nothing Sapiens Tamikan Space Tardigrade!

      Soom Opel & Lier are moth dolls, but they were very limited, so you'd have to find them secondhand or wait on a re-release.

      While not listed as default, ResinSoul will do some mods to their sculpts if you request it by email, and I have seen them do extra arms, and they'll do custom colors as well.
