Bright colored wigs for your MSD Boys or natural?

skrap is currently in a green wig, he is looking for his own persona, he is is overcoming his surgery from being single jointed to double without the proper medical procedures (no real joints to wear). Even though he has auburn eyebrows he looks good in green.

He may be trying to bond with animal who has his own set of problems. They are currently in a basket, in quarantine, from the other dolls.

 

I don't have my MSD boy at home yet (still looking for the right sculpt) but he will get a natural hair color because he will be a young teenager and not allowed yet to color his hair! xD

 

I only have one MSD boy and he's got white blond hair. It makes a nice contrast to my girls, who all have black hair. ^^

 

Depends... Nowe is brown haired, Eien has black hair, Kyoya's is a stunning electric blue, Mephy has white streaked with brown, Grief, Ealdred and Myrahel all have blond to pale platinum hair, Caspian used to have purple hair though he moved to black now, Nero has black and nitro green hair, Kazuki is going to have some crazy hair color though I'm undecided at this point and Gareki is going to have black streaked hair and Calvaethor... probably a light green/mint if I can pull that off or orange.

So I guess its a mix of bright and natural? x3; it depends on the character. Some of them have hair corresponding to their specific race, for example Myrahel has pale blond hair because he's a Nefarian Elysian, a typically dark-skinned, fair-headed race. And then you get Nero who is a punk and therefore dies part of his head green... and so on, so forth.

 

Cian only wears natural blond wigs. Mostly because he's a 6 year old human in a conservative Catholic family, and there is no way on earth his parents would let him change it! Not that he'd want to. He wants to look just like his 15 year old brother, who is also naturally blond with a reddish tint, and won't be changing it.

 

Valentine has a blond, brown and white wig. He looks very different in each of them. I would like to have a wig with multiple colors in it for him ^_^ I'm trying out different styles. Who knows.. maybe it will suit him! Well.. I like to change the looks of my dolls. So I can't really say like 'oh, only that one color nothing more!'. He will probably have a punk-gothic clothing style too. And those change hair colors a lot

 

Vince is a brunette as a default... it would be his 'natural' haircolor if he had one. But he gets to play around with other wigs in other colors, too, and I love bright/unnatural colors just for fun sometimes. He's borrowed a blond-and-pink wig, plus I've got a black wig with pink streaks somewhere (it's not *his*... but he likes it more than Moz does, I think, so he might steal it), and he has a blue fur wig. But I'll try a wacky wig on him at any opportunity, basically.

Pete sticks to white. Goes with his resin tone and red eyes for the 'white rabbit' look.

 

I have 2 MSD boy; one with short black wig and one with reddish brown.

 

They have to suit the personality and since they are quite mature looking they can get away with it.
I also have this stupid thing; I try to avoid multiple wigs in the same color (failing though..) and I like things that are not per se naturally.
One all black, one white with magenta streak (customised), one bright red, one grey/white, one black with multicolor streaks (customised/in progress)

 

So far, my boys have normal colored wigs. I honestly like colorful ones and wigs that are styled and colored anything but normal, so I am not sure how that happened to my guys.

 

The neon colors are reserved for my daughter's MSD boy (she's 10), mine are all natural as long as grey fur wigs still fall in this category.

 

MSD boys are nonexistent at the moment for me but when I finally do get them they will have bright colored hair.

 

I do the same thing, I don't like to have the same hair or eye color for all my dolls. So far, my 3 MSDs have:


Kyoshi: Ivory hair with blue-greenish eyes(great combination...he looks so ethereal) his personality: cheerful, happy, friendly, innocent and super cute (see avatar)
Rosiel: light orange hair with deep orange eyes, personality: moody, punk, skater, he only likes Kyoshi and is not afraid to tell people off.
Orien: brown/blue hair with blue eyes (this one is going to change soon) personality: cheeky, playful, likes to annoy Rosiel, he's like a hipster...awkward.

I am planning for 2 MSD boys more: 1 red head with yellow eyes and 1 blond hair with black eyes. Personalities: ? I wait for them to come here and tell me their personalities and whatever I plan could change too.

Waiting for: MSD girl - everything is undecided, I have to wait until she comes here to find out her personality and hair/eye choices. So far I have wigs for her in pink, blue, rainbow, blond, purple, eyes: yellow, green....

 

For my MSD's I've got white blonde, two-tone pastel blue & green, blue, fire engine red, black with silvery-white streaks, chestnut brown with honey tips, baby pink with white tips, burnt pumpkin, medium grey... I'm kinda all over the place. For my other dolls (Sd/tiny), I've got black with navy blue highlights, cream with turquoise underneath, mahogany brown, neon green, black & red, dark purple, white, golden blonde, pitch black, blackest brown.

Most of my dolls are not human so while some of the colours would be unnatural for a human, having green hair is perfectly normal when you're a 1/2 dragon or pink is normal for a demon or blue is normal for a Tmaawerr.

 

It all depends on what they are cosplaying.

For regular use, I prefer natural colors like brown, black, and light blonde.

 

My boy will have a natural wig, which is in black and a colored one, which is in salmon pink. Technically the black one is his real hair, and he is forced to wear the pink wig.

 

Two of my mini boys are in their forever wigs with unnatural colors-one purple and the other white. For lack of a better term (or rather, the lack of will to explain my not-so-interesting fantasy backstories for them), they are both "demons". My third mini also currently has an unnatural colored wig, teal, but I'm liking it less and less on him and have been searching for a new one. I do admit to liking the way solid black looks on him, but as that color is so common for his sculpt I'm a little bit resistant to it. I have found a couple others, black and white, or dark brown and deep rose, that I'm considering, but nothing is decided for him just yet. He is also a "demon" like the other two.

 

Avery wears wigs in shades of silver. While the current wig he wears isn't the right one mostly due to sizing, it's very much the feeling I want to go with for him. It complements he beautiful white skin, and is a perfect fit for his not quite human nature.
