1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Clothes for 75cm BJD / Ancient Traditional Clothes

    1. I just ordered my first 75cm Idealian BJD, and now the anxious wait begins! I won’t be getting my doll until mid or even late next year, but of course, I’ve already started shopping for clothes.
Within just a month, I somehow managed to spend over $400 AUD on outfits… and I’m still not satisfied. I think I was a bit too quick to buy, and now I’m regretting some of my choices after discovering a few better-looking doll clothing sites.

So far, I’ve only bought two shirts (one black and one white), a wig, a black jacket, black pants, and a pair of black shorts — and somehow that all added up to $400+! Seriously?!

Then I stumbled upon Theodore BJD Streetwear on Instagram, and wow — their modern fashion is incredible! Who knew a black suit and a black tie could look that good on a doll?

Has anyone here ever bought from Theodore Streetwear? Everything seems sold out right now, but I’m hoping they restock soon. If only I could turn back time… I definitely wouldn’t have rushed into those first purchases!

This is probably why I’m so addicted to BJDs. I may not be the best-looking person myself, but I want my dolls to be absolutely stunning!

I think I’ll eventually need at least three more dolls — two dressed in modern fashion, and another in traditional ancient Chinese clothing.

Lately, I’ve been so tempted to get a traditional Chinese outfit for my doll because I want to base the character on Han Li from the Chinese donghua (anime) “A Mortal’s Journey to Immortality.” I actually binge-watched the anime on YouTube all the way up to episode 166 within 3-4 months! I highly recommend this series and also "Renegade Immortal" - It really made me fall in love with Chinese culture — and even got myself interested in meditation and Buddhism.

For those of you who’ve bought ancient-style clothing for your dolls — any regrets? Is it hard to put it on your doll? Or was it totally worth it?

    2. I'd love to know where you shop for ancient chinese/hanfu style fashion!! I'm planning on getting a doll soon that I plan on putting in that style. I know ACBJD has a good bit, but I'm wondering if you have any recommendations?

    3. I like to look on E bay for BJD clothes. It's important to have clothes in every category and at the beginning of collecting, it just costs a lot, there is no way around it. I have some Hanfu and they are beautiful and my dolls look beautiful in them. I also like to use scarves and do Sari style for both men and women. But they also look great in denim and black leather. Try not to guilt yourself over the things you already bought, they sounded like great basic pieces!

    4. ID75 has a bunch of clothes options, it's really fun. Legenddoll has a lot of hanfu clothes on their website that can fit 75s, and I like kakaplanet's selection for cool streetwear.
