1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Crossdressing - DoT boys in girls clothing?

Nov 5, 2007

    1. Ok, I've got a pretty good idea of what boys jeans and shirts will fit our DOT boys, but now I need to know what girls clothes will fit them. I don't need frilly lolita dresses or things like that. Mostly just an idea of shirts.

      My boy is going to have a slightly more girly/childish look and I need cuter clothing for him, not sexy shirts and suits. More like bright coloured cropped T's and tanks, cute sweatshirts and hats, maybe a pleated skirt or two. So anybody have some recomendations for girls from any company that are about the same size as a DOT boy?

      Thanks in advance!

    2. You might find this thread helpful - there are pictures of my Camine wearing a girl's outfit in there, and some shots from other members too :3nodding:

    3. uwah!! thanks! Somehow I missed that thread. Thanks a lot!! and sorry for making the second thread heh ^__^;;

    4. Some of their outfits are kind of bleh. I have a question about that if any of you might be able to answer it. If the DoT doll I want is a boy, but the outfit I want for him is displayed on a girl doll, does it mean it won't fit him at all?
      I read the sizing thing about them, but I'm still not sure how drastic the sizes are between them. When I first saw the outfit, I thought it was on a male doll, but I looked closer and it is a girl doll that it's displayed on. But it's such a cute outfit.

    5. Ehh depends. Where's the outfit from?

    6. Ah! I love this! The girly guy doll thing, eh? Well... It's easy to make girly doll clothes. You can also buy some patterns and modify to fit... though, you'd have to be into sewing. You could even try purchasing female doll clothes from websites and fit them accordingly -- again, a knowledge of basic sewing would be helpful here.
      But honestly, female shirts like the ones you described shouldn't be too hard to find as a male counterpart.

    7. Maybe try Model/70cm girl clothes. Since the DOT boys are so darn tall I don't think normal 60cm girl clothes would fit them. >< They hardly fit my DOT shall, because she's a full 60cm.

    8. Where's a good place to buy 70cm girl clothes? Key word there is GOOD. ^^;;

    9. The only 70cm girls that exist are Dollmore Model girls, Dollshe girls, Fairyland Feeple girls and the new Dolkot Model girls. The only company of those four that makes a selection of 70cm girl clothing is Dollmore. If you are looking for a higher quality in that size range you might have to commission it. :/

    10. Thank you. ^^ Meh, I'm not looking for girl clothes anymore... now it's just clothes in general. The site dollsoom.com has lots of cool like... punkish? I dunno... but they only have it for 60cm dolls and lower.

    11. haha yeah~ I wanted him to be cooler, alas when we started talking and I started picturing him....I failed and made him girly. That's what he gets for being mine I suppose.

      Sewing~ Ah....would you believe I graduated a Fashion Designer? I can sew I just want to have somethings for him to wear when he gets here I guess >_< I hope I can sew what's in my head for him. Its hard to sew small, but I'm gonna try!!! I'm doing fairly well now for my MSD so I'm hoping the DOT will be easier.

      Any good patterns you know of? :: goes to search ::

    12. My gf's doll is an effeminate boi, we're having one hell of a time finding things online that suit him. Shoes especially.

      I'm starting to think I should just start making girly flats that male dolls could wear. :doh

    13. if theres another thred like this tell me. but i wanted to know if a dream of doll, dot (60cm) sized doll would fit in sd sized girl clothes? companys im interesred in were dollmore, musedoll,luts and dod it self.
