Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I ordered Moon Dreaming head and got this

      I've never seen a Sleeping Moon before. He's certainly never been offered as an option, as far as I know.

    5. Its not on the webpage, but the dreaming head sure is almost shut. You can't even see his eyes at all in the NS pictures. Still, fortune may have smiled on you. I can see people going gaga for something that's not actually available without modding. I am going to bet that all the dreaming heads start that way and they just cut out the indented spot or something.

    7. I asked my friend about this. she ordered an NS Moon special and received around late december/early january. His dreaming head was also completely closed but she isn't active on DoA and didn't realize it wasn't the norm. :O I wonder how many other people may have gotten this. Could Luts have changed the mold and not told anyone?

    8. SO wait. Let me clarify something for myself... You ordered the Moon w/ Dreaming head, and got a Sleeping head as an unknown extra? The Dreaming Moon you chose was not a set of any sort? Just the Dreaming head and body?

      If so, that's an excellent bonus.
      And so very tempting. I agree with 'Brightfires'... floating heads seem to multiply at a frightening rate. :)

    9. Well, actually it was like this: Me and my friend made a split-order for Moon Special and that extra dreaming head was going to be mine. When we received the package there was no dreaming head but this sleeping one. And now it's mine :)

      Flaminia: this is indeed quite a surprise! If it seems that recent specials are coming with a sleeping head instead of a dreaming head.

      Quick question. On the inside of the eye wells, is there extra resin placed to "reinforce" the sleeping lids? I don't know about all other sleeping molds from luts, but that seems to be a common thing for normal sleeping heads that I've run across. I am curious if your sleeping moon head has it as well...

    15. They reply to their Q&A board faster I think. If you still don't get a reply try it there instead?

      That is indeed some very closed eyes *laughs* the resin there seems very thin though...thinner than what I've seen for closed Delf eyes. then it probably doesn't take a lot of effort to mod it open, but Luts/CP should be responsible of this anyways.

    16. this is tempting... ( has so many ideas for a sleeping Moon). The CP moon special was my first BJD, hmmm... But honestly never seen a sleeping moon, mine came to me with those barely opened eyes that I fell in love with.

      I shall patiently stalk this thread to await LUTS answer.

    19. Interesting. Thanks for posting Luts' reply! (Actually part of me was afraid that they'd say "sorry, we only sell sleeping Moon from now on" based on their recent customer service...but this is much saner ^^; )

      Well have fun with him! Moons are love--all of them XD. Please do picture spam him once he's complete with faceup and everything *laughs*
