It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Den of Angels Is Celebrating its 9th Anniversary!!

    1. Hello, Citizens of DoA!

      Phew, with our silence this year you may have thought that we forgot all about our own birthday! The truth is that we've been working really hard to organize things behind the scenes for you, so that you can party with us on our 9th anniversary! It was definitely a close call; these celebrations might not have gone the way we wished, and there was a bleak time when they might not have happened at all!

      We understand there can be a lot of frustrations around town ~ We've had a lot of really big changes recently!

      New changes to our staff team with a whole bunch of new faces :D, new structures being implemented, new forum bugs to deal with (here's lookin at you, search tool) are a few of the major changes to mention...Not only this, but there will also be more changes coming in the near future as well. We're constantly trying to make these forums a better place, so please bear with us during the house renovations XD! The 9th year of DoA has been messy and fun ;)

      We wanted to thank everyone for their patience in going through these changes with us. We know it's not easy, but your continued support is what keeps us going. We don't mind criticism, but we definitely need encouragement from time to time. The ABJD world has been rapidly expanding and we are doing our best to adapt to the ever changing needs that come to our doorstep.


      In light of all the aforementioned madness, this year's theme is....

      "DECONSTRUCTION/RECONSTRUCTION"!!!​

      Whether you're after one of the great prizes or just looking to challenge yourself, there's something for every skill set:

      Our grandest test of skill and endurance is the Great Triathlon!       Is photography your thing? Build a doll out of photos in our Photo Mosaic Contest! The prize for the winner is a DollClans U-Line Kien!

      Do you like the challenge of extreme wig styling? Enter our Wig Elaboration Contest! The grandest of them all will bring home a Little Monica Little Harmony Bear!

      Maybe you have an eye for composition and a fondness for art history? Recreate a work of art using your dolls as your figure models in our Tableau Vivant Contest! A feisty Batchix Mini-Machina Delta will be knocking on the winner's door. What? Can't robots like art history, too?

      Are you a storyteller? Enter the Nine Lives Photostory Contest and a cute little RaMcube Silver Tiger Wei could be your newest cast member!

      The always inspiring Customizing Contest for our fabulous face-up artists! The winner claims a Limited Sad Noel head from Migidoll!

      The Wiki Construction Contest. Don't have a doll yet but like to research and write about them? You could win a Fantasy Doll Tobias!

      The Photo Backdrop Design Contest. Like to mess around in Photoshop? Design an awesome textile that can double as a one yard backdrop and win an Elfdoll Mir head!

    5. Hello again, Den of Angels!

      Alas, all good things must come to an end! So comes the closing of our 9th Anniversary celebration. Just like the rest of our ninth year, it has been quite a show!

      The Mod Team organized an unprecedented number of contests this year, inspired by our first opportunity to visibly give something back to the community and by the incredibly generous and abundant donations we received. We were very impressed by the stellar, positive, community-building attitudes shown in our events this year. Not only did members create some amazing works of art in all mediums, but they also contributed in lasting ways to the forum by creating tutorials and making additions to the DoA wiki.

      We hope that you enjoyed the celebrations whether as a contest participant, a voter or a spectator. It is unlikely that next year's festivities will be quite so extravagant. It was a more complex operation than we anticipated and it required more planning than we actually had time for so there were a few hiccups along the way. We have learned a lot, and we appreciate that most of you were patient with our mistakes.

      In addition to simply not having the staff levels to handle something on this scale again, next year Den of Angels will be co-sponsoring the very first Dollism US convention in September. This means that much of our time will be devoted to the convention, but we will do our best to provide something fun for our membership who will not be able to attend our ten year anniversary bash in person.

      We would like once more to express our thanks to all of those who donated prizes to Den of Angels this year. Your amazing generosity inspired some fantastic competitions!
