Do you have LTFs and PKF siblings? How old are they?

    1. I have about three PKFs and two are 5yo and one is 4yo but I'm getting a LTF soon but don't know what age she should be in comparison to my PKFs. Does anyone have both sizes? are they siblings? What are the age differences between them? This will be my first "bigger-sized" doll and I'm having a hard time figuring out how old my LTF should be because of the height difference. I'm thinking of making her between 8-10yo. What do u think and what personality traits or activities emphasize the age difference? Curious to see what you all have to say! Thanks in advance! :)Paula

    2. There´s been talk about the age question in Littlefee thread before, and seems that it varies a lot by the owner´s vision and doll´s character.

      In my doll family, Littlefees are human children and Pukifees sort of fairy children; they don´t come in right scale in my opinion to be actually siblings. (Still though, many people have Pukifees as Littlefee´s baby sisters, and it´s very cute! But for me it doesn´t really work.)

      Many people think Littlefees about the same age as you, to 8-10 years old, but in my opinion the body looks more like smaller child´s body, and my Littlefees are closer to 6-7 years old. The body has short limbs and sort of babyish chubbyness, so for me it´s hard to think them being bigger kids. Compared a Littlefee to the Soom Teenie Gem, or other same size dolls, Littlefee is totally more baby than most of the others. I tend to like most the babyish faces too, but several LFT sculpts are certainly more older kid faces than some others.

      Also, lots of people seem to have their Littlefees as some fantasy character so they are ageless or much older than their childish look would make you think. Also the face-up, hair, eye size and clothing makes a lot of difference; the same doll can look amazingly different, also by age, when styled differently. :)

      I think it´s wonderful how everyone can make their dolls to be just like they want. So I´d advice you to go by your own feeling, it is always the best way to do. :)

    3. Oh thank you Milly:) I'm a little new in posting And navigating threads here so I'll try to look up the discussion on the ltf threads! As far as what you said, I will be owning a ltf bisou soon and always thought pkf and Ltf siblings were cute but before my bisou comes home, I'm trying to figure out her place in my dollie family. Bisous look young so I'm starting to think she might be younger than the 8-10 age range i originally thought. I'm thinking now it doesn't make sense to me to make her less than 8yo at her height compared to my 5 and 4yo pkfs with the huge height gap. Well, I guess I'll get a better feel for her place when i get her....Thanks for your opinion!

    4. My Pukifee Bonnie is getting her face-up done in a way to make her look older. She's maybe 9-11 years old, tops.

      Her cousin, who is a Littlefee Bisou, is naturally really infantile-looking. But in my case, I have also aged her character by giving her a mature face-up, and she's maybe....17 years old?

      The height difference isn't a big deal to me, I guess, because their face-ups are really mature & grown-up. But Pip With A Twist & Muggle treat each other a lot more like sisters than cousins. Pip With A Twist's character has a bit of Imp in her, though, as well :-) So, yes, she's short!

      I really like the height difference between them. I think it's really natural, especially since Pukifees have the pointed ears, they're kind of faery-like, anyway :-) But, that's just me.

    6. I have a 4 year old PKF sister planned for my 8 year old volks YoSD.

      i also had a four year old pkf sister planned for my 7 year old LTF ante, before i sold her and changed up my doll plans.

    7. Well I had the same issue as you but the other way around. I wanted to order a pukifee Bonnie but I just couldn't think of an age for her that would fit into my family. She's quite bookish so I thought at a minimum she would have to be about 8, but it didn't fit with my 10 year old YoSD. In the end I just decided to make her a very intelligent 6 year old and she should be arriving in a couple of months! :')

    8. I do not own Littlefees but YOSD from Volks, who are nearly the same size. My YO kids are arround 5 years. My pukifee is 24 month old. She still doesn't talk properly.

      I agree with Milly. It really depends on the owners view!
