It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. DreamHigh Studio's New 10.5cm LULU (super poseable articulations)

Jan 26, 2011

    1. Hi Everyone!

I'm very excited to present the Latest doll to join the DreamHigh Studio family: LuLu (10.5cm Tiny BJD). LuLu was designed by Donny Harijanto and will be released at Luxour Academy. The release date of LuLu will be announced shortly.

It has 23 points of articulations packed in 10.5 cm Tiny doll, which make it very poseable.

The resin used is an exclusive resin mix ("DHS Dream resin") that was developed by Donny Harijanto of Dreamhigh Studio. DHS Dream Resin is a new formula that gives our resin the characteristics of plastic. It is slightly flexible and doesn’t chip easily but can still be sanded and drilled. The weight is like normal resin and the texture is just the same like DHS older Resin. It's solvent-proof (unlike plastics that will melt down if dipped into solvents such as thinner, turpentine, alcohol, etc) and is far more durable against bumps or falls from high places than normal resin. (we've tested it by dropping the head cast into hard solid ground from 2 meters high) It still has the beautiful colors and translucency of normal resin, but it doesn't yellow as much as french resin.

More photos and details to follow.

      Cheers,

    2. too cute! Cant wait to see more pictures, and that resin sounds really interesting :)

Thank You, that resin is special mix to remove our fear for fragile Resin dolls.
Also its flexible feature helps the joints to work better :)

    5. Oh, she's adorable and so cute! My favorite sculpt you've done so far! :D :D

    6. Love her! :0)

    7. Thanks everyone! She is definitely one of my faves so far! She will be available in 3 colours (Normal, GID and Lilac). :)

    8. The lilac is so pretty. She is adorable

    9. This is extraordinary! :fangirl:
      Very cool. So tiny too!
      :aheartbea
I wish I had dolly money.
Does she have a big lip, or is her tongue sticking out?

    10. @dollightful
      :D :D no it's not a tongue LoL.

      it's her "Jolie" lips

    11. OH, okay. Thank you. lol :aheartbea

Oh, I didn't know she was Sold out already....
      :(

    12. hi,
it says sold out because of it's not for sale yet :)

the release date is february 1st 11pm EST

    13. Dollightful, she hasn't gone up for sale yet so it usually says "sold out" until the doll goes up. Don't worry, you haven't missed anything! (Gah, how I love that bear on your avatar!)

    14. Donny - Thank you so much. Sorry, I did not understand that she was not for sale yet. Wow, it is wonderful to be able to get replies from the actual doll artist. :aheartbea Thankyou. I really hope to own your creations someday. I really like Lulu. I like her name too!

Darkstar - Hi! Thanks for your response. I was really bummed out when I thought Lulu was sold out. I would like the chance to get her. I am afraid I won't be able to get the dolly money, in time. If not, I just hope I can get a Donny dolly someday. :)
I can't believe the wonderful creations I have missed getting! Do you have Donny creations? I have been gone from the tiny unique doll world for some time. I have been caught up into the Lati world. Nice to see you again. Are you going to get Lulu?
Oh, thank you about the tiny bear in my avatar. He is a cutie.

    15. I have an embarrassingly large number of them, Dollightful! They are wonderful little dolls! And I just really love the artist dolls because they seem somehow a bit extra special because their creator is involved with them from beginning to end. I am hoping to get a lilac LuLu. It's a gorgeous color and unusual in a doll so tiny and I really love the face up and blushing Donny has done on her.

    16. I do wish some of his other dolls were considered on-topic, as he does great work. I'd get the Lulu, but her bobble head and pout lips are just not my style, even though she is cute! I'm hoping for something more like the Firefly from now-defunct CCC, or Donny's Sylf who will not be on topic here because she has hinged joints at the wrists and ankles.

    17. I have a Mimi that uses the same body and she is just so perfect. The lilac Lulu is precious. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

    18. I ordered Sylph a few weeks ago, can't wait to get her!

    19. Mimi and Sylph are both off topic, which means we're not supposed to talk about them except in reference to on topic dolls.

    20. Did anybody here get the one tan Lulu? I so wish I could get a Lulu in any color but I already spent my dolly allowance :(

Does anybody know why Mimi if OT seeing as she uses the same body as Lulu?
