Tonight we'll end this order at midnight EST, or sooner if someone claims the last boy. Thanks to everyone for their enthusiasm for Jung Ji Youn's art. She told me she loves Mano more than any other male doll she has created (and that includes Heartbreak Boy, FYI!).

You can order tanned, normal beige urethane, beauty white, or French resin
and he will come with the Sexy Muscle Chest part.

Limhwa will not charge extra for the tanned boys, even though it will cost more due to the difficulty of casting.

Chest part for previous buyers-
Limhwa and I have also decided to sell the Sexy Muscle Chest part to past buyers of this doll, at less than our cost. It will be $50 US to get the part, if you have one now. The smaller torso part is now discontinued. If you own both, your doll will now be ultra-limited. We will not offer this optional part for very long, perhaps only one or two ordering periods so that current owners have time to upgrade if they choose. By all means, you don't need to get this part if you prefer the original torso. The original torso was designed so that clothing choices would be easier. The sexy muscle torso is designed for open-shirt or shirtless looks. Your choice.

Today is our last ordering day for the Limhwa 57 girls, and will have the Mano page updated by midnight tonight.

I can order only 20 tanned Mano or less in this first ordering period.

We will close the order when they are all sold, or in one week's time (whichever comes first).

Yes. All new Mano boys will have this as their default torso... and I have also asked that it be available separately for those who bought the earlier versions of the dolls.


The muscles add about a centimeter to his chest width.

 

I'm asking that just the torso be made available to those who would like a bigger chest look.

If you look at Mano next to some of the other 67cm guys, he's pretty much in the middle as far as chest size-- not the smallest, not the biggest. Limhwa's reasoning behind having him not be too big was in consideration of clothing choices... so this bigger chest will make some of the more slender 67cm fashions a little tight in the chest area.

So in getting a separate torso part, you could have the best of both worlds : - ) One torso for barer chest looks, and a slimmer one for more fitted looks where you want a sleeker profile.

Making the very big tanned dolls is extremely difficult. The dyes have to be mixed very quickly and only a tiny extra bit of dye will end up making a marbling effect (which ruins the part). Limhwa did not want to attempt a tanned doll in this size until the casting person became very very familiar with the mold.

Limhwa also offers a BLANK option, so you can get one blank. Since you are in a hot sunny climate, please also consider getting some UV sealant spray for him.. to protect the white resin.

Yes, since the Limhwa girls are ordering right now, we don't want to confuse people by having Mano up. Many people come to the site who have difficulty with English as a second language, and I think it would be frustrating to see Mano and not understand why an order is on now and they can't get him. We have had to split up ordering because the dolls are made by one person. Limhwa is the one who decides when she can begin another order... I don't want her to feel burned out.

Yes, the bigger boys are shipped directly from Korea due to the large size of their boxes. I ship the smaller dolls from our showroom in the US, since this saves the artist time by packing several in one larger box. We check each doll carefully before sending it off to the owner. You will very rarely hear of any doll coming from here arriving broken. This is because we try to replace broken parts here before the doll is sent home.

I can take layaway payments on regular pre-orders but your order will go in on the order closest to when your layaway is complete. This is because we've had some people who change their minds along the way, and it becomes very impractical for us to have incoming customized orphans Poor babies.

P.S. Regarding the Half Elf in tanned resin...
This time we are offering beauty white and a pinky normal beige urethane resin for them.. in addition to the pinky white French resin. Limhwa likes the girls to be in lighter resin than the boys. I will see what she says.

Enzyme- have not heard of a plan for a two-part torso. She does like them to pose well. The ones with one-part torsos are her gallery exhibit art dolls, which she has in doll shows and gallery events. When she goes to make something to reproduce, she puts enough jointing in for them to be very functional.

Abbystrysagain- I will get spanked if I answer that here. XD

AerynAerie- I think with all hobbies, there are always new things around the corner. I really had no idea that a new torso was in the works. If Mano is compared to other slender (not beefed up types) 70 cm boys, he's pretty much average or even a little larger in the torso (His chest is actually wider than Hound's). I am guessing the new torso and resin are to give him more options as a character. There are now a wide variety of looks for Mano, and I think it's great.

Klapptnix- Not yet, we don't have ordering info. Since we are still working on the Limhwa girls pre-order, it won't be out until after that is closed.
