Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Severe ongoing issues and concerns with Dollshe Dollshe Ban

Ever wanted a doll / concept and in the end decided to do it yourself?

    1. An example being that I decided I wanted a couple of pumpkin heads for Halloween, didn't want to buy as there is such a small time window to use the heads, so made my own converting a couple of Halloween props.

      the fangs popped off on this one so I painted flames instead :sweat

      And now deciding a good project for this winter would be to finally get around to making a bull head so I can have a minotaur at last :evilplot:

    3. I had a couple of free heads I received as part of a Luts promotion. I had no plans to put them on bodies and I don’t do floating heads, but I didn’t want to waste them. So I came up with the idea to somehow display them as hat models for my wonderful collection of hats by a very talented hat-maker on Etsy. I looked at resin sculpted bodices of course, but they were too fancy for what I wanted and too expensive. So I just put together a wooden dowel atop a circle of wood, painted it black, and voila!

    4. @PoeticSoul what a wonderful idea :love I managed to buy a couple cheap bust parts which I am intending to make into standing busts. Never thought if making a head itself as the prop. :lol: they look great!

    5. My skeleton girl Yuri. She was a Halloween prop skeleton that I worked on her face and added a wig an clothes to. She can't stand on her own, but she is fully jointed. I might do more with her face later. She is in the bottom left corner with some of my YOSD's.
