Exact Measurements for Petite Ai?

I am getting a CH Petite doll and i was wondering if the Leeke world dolls are the same size...thanks!

yes, they can both wear the same size shoes. I dress mine in the 10" Anne Estelle shoes.

 

they fit the Luts Cory shoes perfectly , their feet are almost the same size
Leekes feet are a little smaller , but my Leeke wears the Luts shoes too with socks :grin:

 

? Is latidoll... green? same size as petite ai?

my friend is in the market for a fred-sized doll, lol... fred is a petite ai hanael. was wondering what other size dolls out there are petite ai sized.

 

I'm wondering how those two compare...they seem pretty similar...would love to see a pic if anyone has one.

Yeah, she is. CH's resin is a lot toothier than Lati's. Colorwise, I think the normal skin is about the same.

 

I used to collect Ann Estelle and 11-12 inch Helen Kish dolls. Their clothes are a good fit.

I have just done a search here for information on Petite ais and found some great threads, very helpful as i have Gabriel and Uriel on order, but i am so gutted to find that they are infact only 28cm tall and NOT the 30cm that C.H say they are! Cry...
It took me an age to choose these dolls as there are sooo many yo sized dolls all with the sweetest faces, i whittled my selections down to the petite ais, Rosen lied Beige, C.H Uri as well as adding another Bisou ai to my collection, i decided to order Uri and another Bon Bon but after a week changed my mind as i wanted the dolls to be as large as possible, like my daughters Lati greens so cancelled Uri and Bon Bon and plumped for The 2 petite Ais instead purely based on their height!
Don\'t get me wrong i do love both the dolls i have on order, but i loved the others equally too, they purely took the lead becasue they were supposed to be bigger, how can C.H advertise them as 30cm when they are only 28cm? Its misleading!
Does this mean that the Ange 27cm C.H dolls are smaller too? Does anyone know because intended to add Uri at some point too... Ok off to sulk some more lol!

 

Why would they say 30cm if they aren't? Have you emailed CH to ask? I think you'll adore them anyway, and they will make gorgeous little sisters for Leina. However I agree, if they are 2cm shorter than they say, that's not on at all.

 

Kath i havent emailed the company, i only saw the Lati green/petite comparison this morning, their is at least a 1.5\" height difference i would say, Lati green is exactly 30cm and a great size to work with, i have scaled patterns to match the Lati green, will have to adjust those now.I will still love them for sure, but had i had the correct info at the time i may have chosen others instead, Rosen Lied Beige for example is cheaper, comes with wig and clothes and is just as cute if not cuter and you only wait a week or 2 for delivery not 8 weeks! cry! I need to find pics of Petite and ange together now to see if the anges are smaller than 27cm as i don\'t want to go smaller than this for yo sized, if not then it puts the petites and anges at approx the same size and seems silly to sell them in seperate listings.

CH did just revamp the Petite Ai bodies, it may also depend on exactly which head is on the doll. The Ange Ais were created to make a smaller, slimmer tiny that would be a better fit for Yo and Bambicrony clothing, it also has different jointing (like the waist, hip) that many Petite Ai owners were disatistfied with.

 

Petite Ai are in the c.30cm size range.

Just as not all "60cm" dolls are exactly 60cm, neither are the Petite size range all exactly the same.

And Petite Ai were the first modern bjds in that size range. They are the standard.

sweetie , I used to have an petite AI and Lati green Leah ...there isnt much in it ...and they used to share clothes , wigs , eyes and shoes ...the patterns I had were for the AI and they fit the Lati I dont think you will have too much of a problem honestly
I cant remember too much ...its been a long time since I sold mine ...but I think THINK
the extra lenght came in the Lati neck ...its a little longer ..and more slender ...and perhaps the lati legs were a tiny bit longer

but pattern wise , I dont think you will have too much to worry about

its is the Petite you ordered ?
if it were the Ange ...I would have said you would have problems , but not the AI
