Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. This May I will be flying to South Korea. While there I'll be visiting the workshop of the Bimong Doll Academy in Seoul. Many of you know that Bimong is the creator of the gorgeous dolls Narin and Narae.

      I thought I'd extend an opportunity for my fellow fans of Narin Creative to, in some way, visit Bimong with me.

      I am putting together a scrapbook of images and notes to show Bimong just how devoted a fan base he has world wide.

      How you can participate:

      Send to me your Narin/Narae photos, artwork (2d only, hard to put a sculpture into a scrapbook), and notes that you'd like to share with Bimong. I will devote a 12 x 12 inch (30.5 x 30.5cm) page to each of you displaying your pieces.

      Specifics!:

      Images can range between 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (64mm x 89mm) to 5 x 7 inches (127mm x 178mm). The smaller each of your images are the more I'll be able to fit onto the page. Keep in mind I'll need room to add your personal information and other details on the page.

      You may also write Bimong a note contained on one side of a card that fits the same dimensions as the image specifications.
      Notes should be type or legibly handwritten in ink and in English (or, even better) Korean.

      Include a note to me that includes your Full Name, DOA Screen name, and Country/State/Province of origin.

      Important! Please write your name and screen name on the back of each of your submissions so i can keep them in order. I'd hate to credit someone else for your work by accident!

      I'll also be scanning each page and loading them onto the web for everyone to appreciate (with full names obscured, of course).

      Please send me a Private Message if you would like to participate!!!
      Deadline for submissions is April 20th.

      Also, a small donation of $1.50 through Paypal, though not required, would be greatly appreciated, simply to cover the cost of the sheets of high quality Kolo scrapbooking paper I'll be using.

      please send me printed images only. i.e. all images and info are to be snail-mailed to me. no jpegs or bitmaps etc etc..

      if you're having trouble finding places to get high quality prints of your digital images check online! i know that in the US there are many good sources such as www.adoramapix.com (my personal favorite. great prices, amazing quality images), www.flickr.com, and www.shutterfly.com.

      the main thing is to be creative! anything from photographs, to artist trading cards, to poetry is welcome!

    2. Wow this sounds amazing. How exciting to be able to show Bimong how much his work is loved and appreciated. I just can't wait to get my boy (order 28- so soon) so I can take a bunch of pictures and send you a few. One question, if we write a note in English will it be translated into Korean before being put into the scapbook or will it go in in English?

    7. catrina. you certainly may if you'd like, although i don't know how much i'll need at this point! i don't mind paypal eating 4%, really. i expected to put in a sum of money before i got into it! of course... if TONS and tons of people participate i might need a little more assistance. that's true.

    10. Yay~ I'd love to participate! I think I will hold off submitting anything to you until my Narae arrives though. I really hope Bimong will enjoy it and see how much we love his work ;) , it's such a great idea.

    13. :? Do we print out the pictures then mail them to you or do you want email pictures as the wording is confusing me. All my pictures are on my computer and I don't have any printed out.

      kinkos will print them... as well as some online sources that i listed above. (adoramapix.com is my favorite. best prices i've seen anywhere and very professional print quality.)
