Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Favorite meme you'd love to have turned into a doll?

    1. Not exactly meme, but it was the best word I could come up with. Something that wouldn't be a doll, nowhere near doll subculture, so nothing like anime and similar subcultures that are somewhat BJD-adjacent. It doesn't have to be something that you'd actually buy, just something you'd like to see.

      For me? Hank Hill from King of the Hill. I don't know, I'd just love to see that happen. I'm oddly fascinated by the idea. I've never seen western-style animation BJDs- mostly just anime and realism- so I'd be interested to see how that would work out. Plus the idea of just a totally normal middle aged character from Texas getting turned into a super fancy resin doll tickles me, as most dolls are super detailed or fall into fashion subcultures like goth/lolita.

    7. You know...I think a Hank Hill doll would be pretty awesome! It would definitely be something different from all the muscular and slender pretty boys we have in this hobby. For that matter, almost anybody from that show would make an interesting doll unlike anything currently available--older characters, dad bods, mom bods, plus size characters, characters who aren't conventionally attractive.

      And to answer the question, I'm going to say the Phteven dog. He would make an interesting anthro!

    8. I agree, just variation in body shape in general would be nice. I see it some in artist BJDs, but pretty much never from the big companies, which is honestly a disservice to them. The most body diversity is slight height differences, and changing out breast size in girl dolls. It gets a little boring seeing the same bodies and faces over and over again- give us something different!
