Baby The Stars is a real sweetheart and I would certainly purchase from her again! I purchased a most fabulous outfit from her and everything arrived in perfect condition. She even took the time to carefully wrap every item which really made me happy. Her communication with me during the whole transaction was also extremely nice!

 

I just traded a body with Baby The Stars. She was very easy and pleasant to communicate with, and we were able to quickly come to a trade agreement that suited us both.

She shipped the body in a prompt manner, though I felt it was not adequately packaged. It was shipped only in the doll's box, and the doll was loose inside the box and pillows without any additional padding or bubble-wrapping. I also did not see any indication that it had been insured--there was no insurance slip on the outside of the box, and no sign that it had been removed or come off in transit.

I'd be more than happy to work with her again in a sale, but I'm very sorry to say that I'd be hesitant to get a doll from her again.

I bought a Luts NS from my WTB thread body from Baby The Stars ^^. The body is in perfect condition but the only thing was that may I suggest that next time you send a body, but can't get a outer box to ship it in, then wrap the body in bubble wrap aswell as the cushions too.
But other than that everything was fine and the resin match/age of the body is perfect for my shiwoo head. Definetly will buy from again~~Thankies

 

I traded my Sleeping Vampire Breakaway to Baby the Stars for an Open-eyed Breakaway head. She was very kind, and went out of her way to make sure I got my head okay! I'd have no problems doing business with her again, though I'm afraid I, too, must point out that she could take a little more care in packaging things. My poor boy's eyelashes are smashed!

Over all though... I'd give Baby the Stars a 4 out of 5! I'd work with her again!!

The good part:
The item did arrive, in good condition.

When the first item was lost, Baby offered to send me a replacement, but since by the time she eventually pm-ed me the EMS number it no longer worked I can't confirm if she actually sent it out at all.

The bad part:
About 90% of my frustration was simply caused by inability to communicate at all with Baby. After the initial three weeks of silence I sent her email because I hadn't received anything, but she said she never received the email.
She also says at least twice that she has pm-ed me the EMS number, but I never
received it. On my end, in addition to sending her PMs on DoA every other day, I was also sending her email from 3 email providers in an effort to find one that would reach her reliably; this effort proved futile.
Whether there were really gremlins in the system or the gods of communication was just having one on us, or she just plain couldn't be fussed to answer, I seriously don't know.

More importantly, when I emailed her paypal addresses, I found out that the account did not belong to Baby; instead this person had sold Baby a doll and Baby was having all her buyers send money to this 3rd person's account.
I actually did file a claim against one of the addresses (the emails kept returning error messages, I actually figured it may have been abandoned had very little hope of getting anything back) only to find it was not Baby's account either.

Personally I think this is not a good situation to be in, as the buyer I can't claim anything back from Baby herself, and as the seller, if one of Baby's transactions go wrong the seller can't prove anything was sent out to the correct address and therefore can't dispute the paypal claim.

Baby never actually cleared any of this confusion up, until the end she acted as if I had made the claims against her own paypal account.

 

Thanks to the new feedback guidelines announcement I know I can leave a feedback for an unfinished transaction with Baby The Stars now. It was a frustrating trade that never completed and in the end I refunded the deposit back to her because I don't want to have trouble with the trade anymore.
She bought the Rose head on layaway from me at the beginning of June and it was not an layaway because she never mentioned she needed how long to pay for it. She promised to send payment partly from Paypal and partly from western union money order. At first she said she mailed me the first part by money order.
And after some PMs of "misunderstanding" then she gave me a wrong EMS number of the money order. But it was solved after I asked her about the wrong EMS number to Italy.
And then when I got the payment through her friend's account in the middle of June, I found that it was the payment from her item's buyer (glad that she had sent out her sales item and I didn't receive any dispute with that payment...). It was still not a final payment.
And in middle of July, she asked about "how the final payment's going with the money order(supposed to be a second money order)", I was just suprised because she never gave me any tracking number or informed me that she had sent it out. So I told her I didn't get it and ask for a tracking number to see if it's messed up by my post office. She didn't give me one and believed that the mail was lost and said she would send me another one again. Of course in the end there was no second money order.
And later I went to the WU agent and they told me that the money order couldn't withdraw money and thought that I couldn't cash it because it didn't work in my city. I told her, she said she lost her receipt of it and she could do nothing to get back the money from her side.
She had asked for an invoice for the rest of the payment through Paypal. But I just didn't want to do that before I could cash money from that MO.
Lost contact.
In the middle of August, she said that if I couldn't cash the money order, she couldn't finish the transaction and ask me to refund her what she'd paid me. I replied that I would do my best and find another agent to see if the MO works.
Lost contact from her and I had to go on a long trip, so I finally sent her the last mail after such long time on 7 Sept, telling her that I will refund the $100 I received through Paypal to her own Paypal account(yes I realized that she had her own paypal account at that moment) and offered to send her back the MO if it could help. But she replied that sending the MO back to her could do nothing to withdraw money from it. That email was the last contact we have made.
After all these things, as I was worry for her that I held her urgent money with that un-cashed MO, I went to the bank and found out the fact that why the MO couldn't be cashed was due to her mistake on not writing my REAL name on it. Instead she write my member ID of DOA here. She should know my real name because she had written my real name on the mail of that MO to me. Furthermore, I found out that actually the MO sender still can ask help from western union even without the receipt. What I feel at this point was suspicious for being lied for such a long time. And I really feel nothing but frustrating and exhausted after all these things I've been with Baby The Stars.
To add in the point why I didn't initiate to pm or email her:
I didn't want to be harsh on pushing people, especially when she had told me in the very first beginning that her mother was ill and was in the hospital and she needed to go to her mother's house to look after her. So I didn't ask too much about why she didn't contact me for a long time or always tried to pm/email her.
I admit that this is my own fault for not being a affirmative enough seller and didn't set strong enough rules for a sale.
Sorry for the long story, I hope people have the similar story with me about this member could read this and be alert for this record.
