1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for Bellforge

Jan 25, 2011

    1. Hello,
      Feedback thread for Bellforge.

    2. I purchased a Crobidoll Camille from Bellforge. He was shipped quickly, packaged very well with a lot of bubble wrap, and arrived in perfect condition. Great transaction!

    3. Sory for late feedback!
I sold MSD Hewitt body to Bellforge. The transaction was very smooth & friendly. The payment was fast. Bellforge also let me know when the items arrived. Highly recommended buyer ^_^ thank you !!

    4. I bought a Dollheart outfit from Bellforge. c: The transaction went smoothly and the outfit was shipped out quickly! It was really a pleasure doing buisness with her and I can't recommend her enough as a seller!
      Thank you so much!!! ^_^

    5. Bellforge bought a fvs outfit from me. She was very nice to work with. Payment was fast and communication was wonderful. I couldn't be happier with this transaction. Thank you again

    6. Bought a wig from Bellforge. She was lovely to deal with, and sent it out quickly. Due to no fault of her own there was a problem with the shipping and she handled it graciously. Very good seller.

    7. I also bought a wig from Bellforge, and let me say, it was a wonderful transaction. I can pretty much quote what LiviLovelace has said: There was a shipping issue that was not her fault and she took care of it no problem, and was fantastic to deal with with quick response times between PMs. The wig arrived yesterday and it's in beautiful condition, and was nicely packaged. Bellforge is a wonderful seller, and I would not mind buying from her again!

    8. I participated in Bellforge's recent Leekeworld GO (ordered a pre-order wig) and it was a great experience. She did a fantastic job staying organized, keeping us informed by regularly posting updates in the GO thread and via PM's, and was always pleasant, helpful, and professional. I would gladly work with her again in any marketplace transaction!

      Thanks again Bellforge!

    9. I'll come revise this once the current situation is sorted out if need be.

Luckyl above me is the ONLY person to receive her order out of the current Leekeworld GO so far. The order itself was received to Bellforge on 9/6 according to her post in the thread for the order. Shipping was supposedly done on the 12th, as of today Luckyl is the only person to receive anything. Bellforge has not replied to repeated requests for an update on the thread, and is currently being paged. Other participants have resorted to messaging her through other avenues to try and get a response.

Hopefully this situation will be resolved and I can edit this, but for the time being I would view a transaction with Bellforge with extreme caution.

    10. I joined a Leeke GO where Bellforge was the leader. At first communication was great and things were going fine. The items took a while to get to her, and then she gave us the invoiced for shipping. I paid my shipping invoice on September 7th. We were told that all the items had been shipped by the 12th of September. We lost all communication with her after that, and a paging thread was opened up. I called her on Sept 26th and told her she was being paged, and she said she'd be on that evening. When she got on she apologized and confirmed that our wigs had been shipped by the 12th, and that the post was at fault. She scanned receipts to show they had been mailed, but they did not show the dates. I just got my wig on the 28th, and the package stamp date was Sep 26th, the same day I called her.

I do not know if she really shipped on the 26th, or why she waited that long, or why we were given a ship date of Sept 12th. I do not know if the post messed everything up and re-shipped on the same day I called her to tell her she was being paged. It's all a bit wonky.

She was nice when she came back and dealt with us, but because I am not sure if it was she who only shipped after a paging thread was opened, or if the post office really messed up, I cannot rate this transaction as good. I would say to proceed with caution if you join a GO. I don't know what happened, and I have no hard feelings towards Bellforge, but being a GO leader requires that you keep great communication with those involved, and I do not feel as if this happened during the GO.

    11. I also participated in this GO. Communication and organisation were great at first, but Bellforge claimed to have sent everything by September 12th, a few days after the order came in from Leeke. After waiting a good two weeks I got worried and we all posted together about it. She disappeared for several days at this point, but eventually came back to DoA and posted a copy of the shipping receipt. My package did arrive today, as she said she was told by her post that it would--though it's postmarked for Monday the 26th, not the 9th or the 12th.

All in all I would call this a positive transaction, but I hope communication and shipping date disputes don't happen again for this seller.

    12. I participated in a Leeke World group order organised by Bellforge. Everything was super organised at the beginning and seemed to crumble once the items showed up.
I did get my ordered items today and they were well packaged. Thanks.

    13. I was part of the July Pre-Order Leeke GO Bellforge organized. As others have said, everything was going absolutely great until the order was to be sent from Bellforge to us.

We were told all packages had shipped as of Sept. 12th. Bellforge disappeared from DoA from Sept. 16th until one of us called her house on Sept. 26th to tell her she was Being Paged. She finally responded to us (Sept 26th) and we were told #1 that she no idea there was a shipping issue and #2 that her post office was the problem. She also posted pictures of the mailing receipts. (The date/time stamp is not shown in any of the pictures. Whether that was intentional or not.. who knows.)

My package arrived today: Sept. 28th. The post mark is Sept. 26th. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Also, the package was addressed to my username, when my real name had been provided with my address through PM and Paypal. The USPS gets the gold star for delivering it anyway. The Priority mailing envelop itself is so crumpled it looks like it has been slept in, which may or may not be from the 2 short days in shipping. At this point I don't know. (Thankfully Leeke has cardboard in the wig baggies.)

I do not believe there was any issue with the Post Office in regard to delivery time, other than they were never given the packages to ship when we were told they were.

I do not appreciate the deception. I would have had no problem if Bellforge had told us that she, for whatever reason, hadn't been able to get to the Post Office. Positive transactions do not end with the feeling of being grateful that I actually got my stuff and thankful that I didn't have my money stolen.

When we participate in the Marketplace here on DoA we are trusting others to deal honestly with us: in what they are telling us they are doing and that they are doing what they are telling us.

      Not cool. :|

    14. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

I 100% agree with the previous post. Everything was fine until it came time for Bellforge to ship the items out to the GO members. She quoted a shipping day, disappeared and had to be PAGED and then called before she even bothered to check in at DOA. If you are the leader of a GO, you are the LEADER. That means your work is not done until everyone is satisfied.
I get plenty of packages from the post office and if the date stamp is 9/26, then it was not shipped until 9/26 which means she lied about when she shipped out packages. I would have been fine if she had contacted us and said she was being delayed.
I also felt she was extremely bad at answering PM's. If I sent a PM I would not get answers. If I posted on the threads, she'd finally respond.
I am happy I got my wigs but it should have been without this mess.

    15. I was also involved in the July Pre-Order LeekeWorld GO and I agree with the previous couple of posts. I don't have anything new to add except that if you buy from Bellforge it might be a good idea to request a picture of the shipping receipt where the date is visible or get a tracking number. I did finally get my items safe and sound.

    16. Neutral feedback, proceed with caution.

I took part in the Leekeworld group order as well, though there's little I could say to add to what's already been said quite well. Despite the way everything played out, I'm quite grateful to have received my wigs in the end.

    17. Aralien said everything I wanted to say, pretty much... and came up with a title like what I had in mind, lol. I did want to specify a few things though.

I participated in Bellforge's July LEEKE preorder GO.

Everything was pretty good at first, though looking back I see the communication was a little spotty, but definitely not enough to raise red flags at the time- little things like the 'paid' list not getting updated much despite pervasive member confusion about their payment status, slow updates on Leeke's status, etc.

The order was placed and we waited. The order was shipped and Bellforge announced the tracking number. The order arrived.

Sept 6th: Bellforge said: 'The first 20ish packages have just been mailed'

Sept 9th: Bellforge said: 'About half the orders have been shipped (mostly those who only ordered 1~2 wigs) and more are going out tomorrow. All packages should be shipped no later than Wednesday, if not before that.'

Sept 12th: Bellforge said: 'Last of the packages have been shipped ♥'

Sept 14th: Bellforge said: 'Everyone has paid, everyone has had their packages shipped.'

A lot of time passed, and only one person got a package, and it was right away. We opened up a paging thread. We tried contacting Bellforge in various ways, social media, PM, DA, LJ, and when we found and called her phone number we finally got a response. She returned to DoA on Sept 26th.

Sept 26th: Bellforge said: 'I've been dealing with a nasty bug' ... 'I have gotten quite a few delivery confirmation e-mails so I know at least some of you have gotten your packages, though this isn't the first time I've had issues with this post office.'

Reciepts were posted for ...most of us... but did not have the end with the posting date.

I received my package today, Sept. 28th... It too was postmarked the 26th, and had been sent priority mail.

It did NOT come with a tracking number. All I had on the box was USPS's internal tracking number which ...is not trackable by the public that I have seen, including the person who sends the package... DC numbers were not posted as promised by the time of this post.

The wig is perfect, but I will NOT likely deal with Bellforge again, because of the lack of communication and the blatant inconsistencies I see. I don't mind delays, I understand, but the truth is VERY important to me and I'm doubtful I got it, and in a business transaction that's very important, especially on a long-term transaction that goes beyond the 45 day paypal dispute limit... Which this did by nature since it was a preorder.

Bellforge says there was a postal system bug that caused the delay and she was gone because she was sick and had no internet other than her phone. I don't understand how a bug would prevent the office from posting the package for weeks...

I am not mad, but just want the facts to be clear for consideration. I have my wig in the end but fear a lot of us were almost out our money and limited items that would be very hard to replace. I would not personally recommend purchasing from or through Bellforge at this point- proceed with caution!

    18. I also, do not have a lot to say to add onto the facts that have already been laid out for the past Leeke GO, but I will state my experience anyways, because this is my feedback.

Aside from being a little confusing at some points (whether or not we had paid, and when she had received payment), I generally cast my worries aside and let the GO sit until the Leeke package arrived.

Still, at this point, I didn't suspect anything wrong, except that my invoice seemed high for continental shipping (now that I have my item, I know why. It was shipped Priority Flat-rate). But when Bellforge posted that she had shipped everything as of the 12th of September, I started checking the mail daily.

After two weeks had passed, I was ready to chalk it up to slow shipping, since the USPS had been shutting down smaller sorting facilities, and it could have had to have been re-routed... however, when I had TWO packages from other LATER ARRIVING GO's make it here BEFORE her package did, I knew something was wrong, and I immediately opened a paypal dispute to get her attention, while other GO members opened a paging thread for her on DOA. It took her several days, and one of the members calling her on her phone number (which wasn't even really HERS), for us to get her attention, and when she came back, she seemed less than caring about the status of our packages. She claimed that several of us had already received ours, and that she had gotten confirmation emails from USPS, which I don't really believe, because out of all of the times I've sent things with delivery confirmation, I have never received an email like that.

On September 26th, she posted that she would be posting receipts later that day as proof of shipping for everyone's items (one of which was "missing"), of which the post date was conveniently missing; when my package arrived today, it was postmarked September 26th.

I am thankful that I finally got my items, but Aralien is right- positive feedback doesn't end with "thankfully". I do not appreciate being lied to, or dealing with someone who ignores problems with GO's that they are running, and I personally will not be doing any future business with Bellforge on the MP.

All I can say to other users is this- request tracking, insurance, and signature confirmation, and also request that she posts a copy of the FULL RECEIPT with the date on which your item was shipped. If you don't, and weeks start passing, don't just shrug it off.

And as requested by a MOD, here is a link to her paging thread ~> http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?474679-Paging-Bellforge

    19. I participated in the Leeke GO that Bellforge coordinated. It took a long time, but Leeke can sometimes take a while, so I wasn't too concerned. But the same thing happened to me as to those who have previously commented. We were told the items had shipped on the 12th, but nothing arrived.

At first I thought it was the post office, since I have had some mail run very slowly lately. But then it became obvious that others had not received their packages either. Mine came in today, but it was postmarked September 26th.

So yes, I did get the merchandise, but if there's going to be a delay (for whatever reason, life happens, we all know that) then say so.

      Neutral feedback.
