1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for Em 'n' Chu

May 13, 2007

    1. Great buyer, told me when the eyes arrived. Recommend to all!

    2. I purchased a Dollzone Bunny from Em 'n' Chu in the March of 2008. She was a great seller: she stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process, even when she was out of town. The doll was package very well with tons of bubblewrap and paper in a very sturdy box. I would not hesitate to purchase from her again and I highly recommend her!
      Thank you for my bunny!

    3. Purchased a DOI Luke from Emi. All around, I was pleased with the transaction. Communication was slowed a bit, but it was made up for. She tried to let me know what was going on, even with her being out of town. She was very pleasent to talk to, and very patient with my questions and concerns. He arrived safely after she so kindly let me put him on layaway for a couple of months.
~ Thanks so much for letting me bring one of my dream dolls home ~

    4. Had a very pleasant transaction with Em 'n' Chu who purchased eyes from me. Would happily do business again.

    5. THIS IS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. I would like to point out that I, personally, will never work with em ‘n’ chu again.

      Here’s why:

I started a heliot split back in December. Em ‘n’chu messaged me about the human head. She paid the first payment right away and asked for layaway for the rest. She paid the second part at the beginning of February and asked if it was alright if she paid for shipping when the head arrived from Soom. Everything was going very smoothly until the Heliot actually arrived. I messaged her about paying for the shipping and verifying the shipping address so that I could mail out the head.

THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING WENT WRONG

After about a four day delay from my initial PM asking for verification of the address and to notify her that soom had shipped and I still needed payment for shipping (normally I wouldn’t be bothered by that, but she had been “online” several times before finally bothering to message me), I received a message telling me “Um, I was wondering if I could give you a different address to ship to? I ended up not being able to keep the head and sold him to someone. They're in the US, so shipping might actually be cheaper. I'll give you their address ASAP.” I messaged her back asking for the address and user name of the other person, as well as notifying her that it is against marketplace rules to sell something not in your possession. After claiming naivety and giving me the person’s user name I realize immediately that the other DOA user had Spain listed as their location in their user profile. After asking her if she had given me the correct DOA name I came to find out that the person was indeed from Spain. So I figured the shipping cost and spent the next three days trying to figure out how much had already been paid for by the third party and how to send the package. I ended up having to ask both parties to send me screen caps of the paypal transaction because apparently neither one of them remembered how much was actually paid. It was only after I received the screen caps that I realized that the money was transferred on JANUARY 14.

So basically em ‘n’ chu: 1). Didn’t tell me she no longer wanted in the split (when I still could have found another split person) and took it upon herself to find someone else to replace her. 2.) she went 6 months without informing me that she contacted someone else and had already sold the head to them. 3.) She had been paid “in full” in January for the head, but still asked me for layaway and to pay for shipping when the head arrived.

I would NOT recommend her at all for long layaways or splits. (she maybe alright for quick [buy/sell/ship right away] transactions that don't take much patience.)

    6. I sold an Erasmus full set,
It was a Great transaction with Em'n'chu, Prompt to pay and great communication!
I even got to see some pictures of the outfit on her doll!

    7. Em 'n' Chu is my first interaction with DoA's marketplace, and made the whole experience quite pleasant. I bought a Soom Heliot, the whole exchange spanning only three short weeks from intial payment to Heliots arrival. She was quick to ship him after payement, kept in touch during the transaction, provided the tracking number so I could see where he was, and he arrived in sturdy Soom box, carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and packing foam.
Though one hand arrived broken, everything else was in perfect condition, just in need of a little wash.

I bought a darling little FantasyDoll Ono from Emi and am very pleased. Shipping was complicated by much on her schedule but she kept in touch and he arrived in good shape. Such a little sweetie! (Um - the doll, that is... and I'm sure she is too!)
