Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Fullset Unboxing Videos?

    1. I’ve been on the search for unboxing videos recently of BJDs, and have been surprised that there aren’t a lot of unboxing videos of Fullsets around. A lot of the unboxing videos I’ve found are just the unboxing of Basics.

      It’s just less interesting to watch Basics get unboxed for me because I prefer to see the dolls all painted up and pretty.

      Am I looking in the wrong place? If you guys know of any nice unboxing videos of Fullset dolls, I would love to have them to watch.

    3. @PaeoniaDrop makes lots of great unboxing videos on YouTube! There’s quite a few fullsets.

      Also Coco Joy has some on yt as well.

    5. Just wanted to pop in and add that YouTube recently (within the last couple of years) changed how their search function works. It's supposed to work in favor of promoting small creators, but it ends up promoting a lot of extraneous, unrelated videos instead. You'd almost certainly have better luck by finding channels via asking around on forums/discord rather than searching directly.

    6. Rose tea on YouTube has a back log of full sets. I don't think she's posted in a while but she posts very sweet aesthetic videos with music in the back and no commentary. If you're into that, you might even be able to get an ASMR kick if you like crinkling plastic.

      If you like commentary, Allison Hernandez also has a MASSIVE backlog. I kept getting her in my suggestions and at first i judged a book by it's cover HARD, but she has such a positive attitude, it's infectious. I find myself even watching videos on dolls I genuinely think are hideous because she can make any doll sound good. She's incredibly pro artist of ANY sort, so I might be biased what with being an artist and all XD. But if you feel bad when people buy expensive dolls consistently, don't click. She does have a very well paying job and admits her privilege so people who get fomo very bad should not be watching her.

      Those are two ends of the spectrum and from those two, YouTube gave me a bunch of suggestions in between.

    7. I think there are just less fullset unboxing videos out there, since they're not always available. That said I've seen a lot of Ringdoll fullset unboxing videos pop up on my feed.
      I agree with Vimes, @MunecasPoupeesDolls on youtube has great unboxing videos. She makes me want dolls I wouldn't have looked twice at otherwise lol
