Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       From the staff that brought you GoGaDoll in 2009 and Dollectable in 2007 and 2008, comes a spring event that will take place in San Francisco! ​

      GoGaDoll Lite - a swap meet and gathering for all BJD fans!​





      When: Saturday, April 17th, 2010, from 12-4pm
      Where: The Harvey Milk Center for the Recreational Arts, 50 Scott Street, San Francisco, CA
      What: A swap meet, with hourly panels, door prizes, and bjd comradery!
      General Admission: $5.00
      Swap Meet Space: $10.00 (which is in addition to the general admission)

      Our location overlooks Duboce Park and is next to the Lower Haight which will also offer photo ops for your BJDs - there will be plenty of 'human' lawn at the park for your picnic and will be perfect for meeting up with bjd friends!

      More details to come, including general swap meet rules, instructional panel schedule, vendor list and parking information! Please keep checking this thread for updates!

    5. We will update the Parking information soon (see original posting), but I can tell you that its not difficult to park in the neighborhood, unlike say Chinatown or North Beach.
      I work near the Ferrys, and the Harvey Milk Center for Rec Arts is an easy commute from the Embarcadero - the above ground F line stops within 3 blocks, and even better, the underground N Judah (Outbound) goes right to the park - both lines are easy to get to from the Ferry Bldg, and no transferring is needed!

      We will post maps soon, either here or at GoGaDoll.com

      This building was reopened just last June - our event will be held on the lower level, with the entrance through the glass doors as shown here in the picture.

    10. We have just posted the price for a swap meet space at GoGaDoll Lite!

      The charge will be $10.00 for each space, to be used by up to 2 attendees - this is in addition to the general admission charge.

      Swap meeters will be allowed onto the premises 45 minutes to 1 hour before the doors open for regular attendees. Swappers can use that time to setup their space and conduct business and trades before the general public is admitted. They will also be eligible for free tickets for the hourly raffles as will general admission participants.​

    13. General Parking Information for GoGaDoll Lite​

      Saturday parking around the Harvey Milk Recreational Center for the Arts is generally easy on the streets bordering the center. Waller, Carmelita and Duboce do not have time restrictions on the weekends, and there are no special parking stickers required. I saw many spaces and a good constant turnover on Saturday. Scott Street near the park DOES have a 2 hour parking limit on Saturdays, so please be conscious of your time ​

      Parking on the above-mentioned streets is the closest you will get to the center.​

      However, if all else fails, there is free Saturday parking at Davies Medical Center, which is one half block away from our venue. Please be discreet and respectful if parking there as the parking lot primarily serves the hospital and its patients and visitors. The gate may be down and you will have to accept a parking ticket, but the exit gate will be up and there are no attendants on Saturday. Please do attempt street parking before using the hospital facility.​

    16. GoGaDoll Lite is happening in just over a week!​

      Fun bjd donations are coming in almost every day!
      These will be awarded free in our hourly door prize giveaways! ​

      There will also be special items raffled off to lucky participants in our Dollheart Fer Photo Op!​

      Swap Meet Setup starts at approx 11:00 am.
      General Admission entry at 12 noon.
      Doors will close at 4pm, with the last giveaway at 3:45.​
