      Projected manufacture time was 50 days, but he arrived sooner, on June 17.

      Yes, definitely!

      Exactly. Even the bronze resin looked the same color.

      Mmm... I'd say yes for the body, but no for the jointed hands. I expected them to be less expensive because some fingers leave small gaps.

      Late February, for the Nuevo body pre-order.

      Excellent. Granado replies quickly and in very good English, too. They're very kind.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy, with Paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Not long; quicker than I expected, in fact. My two orders took about a month, with the head arriving about two weeks earlier than the body (mostly because the body got stuck in customs for a week).

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes. The resin is very nice and the sculpt really good, which you notice when you do the face-up. The Nuevo body is not only good quality, but also very well-engineered.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      In fact, it looked much better XD. The only 'negative' thing you can say about Granado is that somehow, their sales pictures fail to do justice to their sculpts, even though they obviously devote care to their photos.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very. I like this doll so much that I can even bear the heavy customs fee :p.

      Two different orders but Granado sent the orders in parts.

      Guilem on March 1st 2012 (ordered with Gitana)
      Sidonia on January 25th 2012 (ordered with another Sidonia)

      * How was the communication?

      Great! Sidonia was actually a special order since they stopped making sunshine skin for a while to find a solution for sanding marks on dark resin. I usually hear back in about 24 hours.

      * How easy was it to pay?

      Very easy. I just use Paypal. With the special order they confirm the next day.

      * How long did it take to ship?

      The package got to my P.O. on April 14th. I got a shipping notice two days before that. I waited a while for Sidonia but I don't mind at all. Guilem came to me super fast since they just figured out the solution to the dark resin.

      Guilem - 1.5 months
      Sidonia - 2.5 months

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      The resin is amazing. The color is gorgeous and there are no seam lines at all. Crocus does a great job. He even upgraded Sidonia to the nuevo body for me and included some shoes! My sunshine Sidonia is the first doll since I first started in this hobby to make me feel so excited.

      Yes the photos look just like the real item.

      Very very satisfied.

    15. I'm back to update the feedback I left this company a few months ago. As I said back then, I had purchased a 68cm male boy with jointed hands and I wasn't pretty satisfied with them. This is the state I got the hands in:

      A month after I got my doll (exactly on March 3rd), the resin hook joining the hands to the elastic string got broken like this:

      I maintain the reason for this breakage was the tension. The doll was too tight and the hooks were too weak.

      I contacted them and told them the problem. They said I should glue the hook back. Yes, for a hand which was $100 and which got broken a month after normal use, they said 'glue the hook back with super glue'. Obviously, I told them I wanted an aftersale service because the hands were not broken by an unfair use of the goods, but because of company flaws. They suggested I had broken them because I hadn't handled them with enough care. This is exactly what they told me (it's a fragment, I have a screenshot if needed):

      I told them I did see bubbles and company flaws when I first used the hands (just like I said here on my previous post, to which, in fact, I asked them to refer to) and I showed them the pictures I included above. I felt outraged because they implied I had destroyed the hands by mishandling them, when I know perfectly fine how to use jointed hands (I've had other pairs from different companies before and they were much better) and I've been having dolls since 2005 and this is the first time I get something broken. They even said if I broke the hands again, I'd have to pay twice for shipping. Obviously, I told them I was never going to accept this resolution and I wasn't going to pay a cent for a pair of 'made-to-get-broken' jointed hands.

      I got the following reply (again, it's a fragment, but I have the screenshot):

      What I have to say is:

      1) I didn't let them know about the flaws I had found because I thought they were not that big of an issue and I thought they wouldn't do anything about it. Had I known this was to come, I would have told them right away.

      2) If the gap is produced always during the manufacturing process, then why don't my new pair of jointed hands from them have it? It's a little contradictory, isn't it?

      3) They haven't said anything publicly. In fact, the only thing they've done publicly is go to my flickr, where I was hosting the images of the breakage and other quality issues, and express they're good and they're going to send me a free pair, just to wash their image. I consider this unnecessary.

      They took the same time to produce just a pair of jointed hands that they would have taken if they were producing a doll, which is absurd, but well... On April 25th I got the shipping notice and I received the new pair of jointed hands today. The hook is certainly bigger... and so is the hand itself. I don't know why if they're supposed to be made from the same mold, but things like this can happen and I don't really care as long as they don't break again.

      They sent me a handwritten note and a pair of glass eyes to apologize but at this time I'm afraid it's too late to apologize.

      So, for me, it's been a negative transaction. Firstly because the goods were not the quality I paid for and second because the after sale service was more than poor and I had to fight to get a normal resolution.

      It was pretty good, I had to contact them because of a shipping issue. Their english was very good and they replied back usually within a few hours.

      Very

      * How long did it take to ship?
      It was shipped out on May 30th and arrived at my house on June 25th because of a shipping error.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, the resin is very smooth and a nice color

      Well, her chin is a lot bigger than it looked in the sales picture, but its not a huge issue for me.

      I was satisfied with the product, and the shipping debacle that happened I feel is more the shipping companies fault. The shipping companies said that the package was misaddressed but Granado showed me the shipping slip and it had the correct address.

    20. I have ordered from Granado on several occasions (each one a wonderful experience - great products and service). This feedback is for my latest two transactions only though.

      How was the communication?

      There was no need for communication with the V-04 order - it shipped quickly and with no problems. My Davon order began to concern me with the length of time it was taking to ship (unusual for Granado, who ship quite quickly). Without any prompting on my part, the customer service rep for the company contacted me to assure me that my order was doing well, and let me know the reason for the delay. The message was polite and informative, and made me happy to be a Granado customer all over again.

      How easy was it to pay?

      Paypal - couldn't be easier.

      How long did it take to ship?

      - Shipped 23/08/2012
      - Shipped 26/09/2012 ( minor delay in shipping caused by the jointed hands)

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      Very much so. Granado products are beautifully made - the resin is nice and heavy, and everything moves as it should. Not to mention how gorgeous they are - pictures can't do them justice!

      Since their sculpts are limited, if one that I missed cropped up on the MP in good condition, then yes. Otherwise, I'd prefer to order direct from the company itself, since I can be 100% assured of their quality service and products.
