1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Has your doll ever been stolen?

Sep 30, 2013

    1. I couldn't find any threads about this by using search so if there is, I'm sorry ^^

So, does anyone have experience of having your doll being stolen? What did you do? What can one do if this happens?

    2. Stolen? No. Away and I can't get him sent home? Yes, twice. In both cases, I willingly let one of my boys go stay with someone else. The first time, I ended up having my mom drive me three hours to go pick him up. This time, (different boy), he's with my friend halfway across the country and due to circumstances, I can't go get him, and she can't ship him. But it's NOT theft, as I sent him willingly, I know where he is, and I completely understand why he's not back yet.

If your doll was stolen, I highly recommend following Jescissa's suggestion and posting in that thread! I would also file a police report for stolen property. It might be "just a toy" to them, but a doll can easily pass the value range from a misdemeanor to felony! I would also post a notice on any other doll forums/blogs/etc you frequent. The more you get the word out, the higher the chance somebody is going to catch this doll either being sold or displayed elsewhere.
