1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    4. i got mine a few days ago. great articles. it was nice seeing familiar faces/names and dolls in the volks opening :)

    5. Ah! I went looking for it today at Barnes & Noble, but it wasn't there yet. I had to settle for "Fashion Doll Quarterly," since it had an article about the opening, too. I should really just get a Haute Doll subscription. *_*

    6. cool cool cool. now i have to stalk my barnes and noble!

    7. That's great... I haven't even received the issue before that yet and I supscribed in DECEMBER!!!

    8. I got mine last week. What a great issue! Beautiful pictures of Naripons! I wonder if Aimee has ever considered being a professional photographer. Like for money and stuff LOL. She's really good.

    9. I got mine the other day, a fabulous issue!!! Loved the pics of the little bjds:D

I'm the gooofy looking one with the tye dyed Led Zeppelin t-shirt!LOL!!!!!! I loved all the articles. Brings back such wonderful memories! THanks for the pictures since I forgot my extra film, left it in the hotel room....argh.............

    11. I could be wrong, but as a correspondant I believe Aimee does recieve compensation from haute doll ^^; It is work, you know...

    12. :love
yes - I took that the picture of Bailey. Mia Peterson and Mercy Neumark also took pictures - these are noted in vertical white lettering somewhere on the picture - the ones with no lettering are the ones I took.

did anyone spot Mercy's picture is on page 21?? - middle of the page left hand side.

There is a small picture of me in Karen's Haute Staff,on page 25, bottom of the page . I am standing next to Aimee on the far right.

I had so much fun -- The LA Store opening was truly a joyful experience.
      Sure enjoyed meeting everyone!!

      :daisy

    13. Got my copy! (But by all that's dolly, if the USPS doesn't stop wrecking my magazine there's going to be hell to pay. )

As to the issue, obviously, space is limited and needs to be divided fairly, but I was a little sad that there weren't any BJD make-up tutorials or patterns. -_- Otherwise though, looks great. The photos were (IMHO) some of the best so far, and even though I don't collect Barbie-type dolls, I really enjoyed the Cheryl Crawford spotlight. LOVEly stuff, that lady makes.

To the HD editors: when will the fashionista-ish dymanic duo, Blythe & Pullip get a page or two?

    14. GYA!! I work at a book store and we haven't gotten any copies in!! *runs off to yell at the newstand boy and make him cry*

    15. Just in case some of you were on the fence about this issue...!
The articles I did are about Volks Yo SD, Unoa Boys, Lati-Doll, Angel Region Angelica, Nari-Pon, K-Doll and Dollstown
I cannot WAIT to see Sher's article about the opening. I'm sure it's awesome and has a ton of info and photos.

I didn't take all of the photos though..! I can't take credit for all those lovely photos! The photographers should have been credited (hopefully they are... ^_^ I don't have my issue in the mail yet, so I don't know for sure)
The gorgeous Nari-Pon photos are by Anika (gothiclibrarian)
Some other gorgeous photos were Angelica ones by Becky, Dollstown photos by Therese, K-doll photos by bakemono, Latidoll photos by Peggy, and Unoa boy photos by Tami. ^_^ I think this time the only photos I can take credit for are the Yo-SD ones. :)
Also, I had a lot of help from forum members to write these articles... (since I don't own some of the dolls being talked about ) so it's thanks to alot of yall for telling me your opinions on these dolls that I was able to write the articles.

(haha I hope I don't look hideous in photo! EEP! )

Marilyn - Sorry about the tutorials for this time! Part of that is because we are planning a huge group of them coming up (tutorials and patterns.) so stay tuned ok? :)

as to the magazine, writers like Sher and I are compensated, yes. ^_^... I'm very grateful to be able to write for the magazine. I really enjoy it a ton.

Doesn't Softly She Walks have a new ABJD clothing exclusive in this one too? (again I'm not sure because I don't have the issue yet in my hot little hands)

    16. I can't wait! I just subscribed last week ^_______^

    17. Yes she does! Her second set for HD I believe.

    18. I subscribed too, and I got my December issue, and haven't received an issue since!! I'm really annoyed about it; I've got to find out what's going on with my subscription.

    19. Got mine yesterday and spent this afternoon with it! It's such fun to recognize names and faces! I do find that I am skimming over the fashion doll articles and hanging on every word of BJD features. Funny how things can change so quickly when BJDs come into your life! Aimee, I really enjoyed your article comparing the different companies...hope to see more like that!

    20. Mine arrived today, I was so excited to see Angelica in there, I adopted her from Becky a few months ago :D
