Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Have you ever liked a part of a doll so much you just had to have it?

      Maybe you liked the eyes, the nose, the lips or the shape of the face.


      Maybe this question sounds a bit weird :sweat But I really like IH JID Tatiana lips, and have for quite a while. I think all of Tatiana is awesome. But I especially like her lips! I really really like those lips :blush

    3. I bought a sleeping mnf Celine head because the overall features of the head were the perfect ones to mod in order to mold the head into the image of one of my characters x3;

    4. While I do like the overall look, the lips, the nose, face shape, everything about the sculpt, what really sold me on CP Shiwoo (all sizes) and made me fall in love was the shape of the eyes. Which is why I have one home, one processing, and hopes to bring another home someday!

    5. I got a strong feeling I'll end up with a JID Tatiana sooner or later. I pretty much love all of the sculpt. But there is something about the lips that I get drawn to.

    7. I bought my Magical Angel Amy for it's jointed feet, admittedly...but them I fell in love with how awesome the doll could be! It really became my favorite doll.

    8. The tinies that I have/ordered so far have animal ears. And honestly, I don't think I'd want them as much or would have even considered owning them if it weren't for the ears.

    10. I did! I bought my Limhwa Limho Mano because I fell in love with his hand sculpt. Mano were never vey popular so I hadn't seen much of the sculpt
      other than promos but I just wanted his hands for my SoulDoll Paris so I purchased Mano to replace my Paris' body. I've always had an obsession
      with pretty (doll) hands; Mano's are the most beautiful sculpt I've seen in a doll, quite useless but so darned beautiful! My plans didn't work at all so
      I had an extra doll I wasn't planning, it made me want to sell him right away and I even made a sales thread for him. Long story short, I never sold him
      (took off the sales thread after about 2-3 days) he is one of my favorite dolls and has been for a while now. DX

      I also purchased SoulDoll Chu's head sculpt mainly because of his gorgeous cheekbones. I love the head sculpt as a whole but his cheekbones
      are what drove me to purchase the head.

    11. I bought Galena and Chrom because I loved their noses. I bought Migma because I loved her purple skin and smiling fanged head. I bought Amber, Ai and Benmore because I loved their long sheepy ears. I bought Cuprit, Beryl and Sweet Witch because I loved their lips. I bought Heliot because I loved his romantic eyes. For all of my dolls, I love everything about them, but for many there was one special feature I especially loved.

I haven't bought any yet for that reason (just finished up 3 years of school and couldn't buy more than floaters), but I do notice a few times where I just want a doll for a certain part of the sculpt. I saw a Iplehouse YID body where I didn't like her face, but I LOVED the curvature of her body!! They don't really post well (the old ones), so I don't know what I'd use her for, but I can't help but want to caress her S curve of her spine everytime I see her at my friend's house.
      For the LUTS 2014 SD Bory with the wings, I really wanted those beautiful resin wings for no other reason but to touch them!

      Also I'm a huge fanatic for Elves, so I have a small happy dance whenever I see them on more and more sculpts. Eventually I want to build an elven BJD army hahaha!

    13. Um, not when it comes to buying whole dolls. I usually have to like it all or I don't buy it as a full doll. If I don't like the body I will buy just a head and hybrid. But I have bought a couple of male bodies that I liked just because that particular body has such a great posterior. Otherwise that body has issues. I'm having to custom them a lot to get what I want out of them, but I still love that they have such totally great behinds. If you look down on this page you will see a back shot of the Minimee body's cute as heck behind. Both of my Minimee boys are going to be wearing some nice tight pants, I think, laugh...

    16. Well, something about a doll has to appeal to a buyer. It could be just a part, if the buyer really likes that part enough. I don't see why not!

      Of course, if other parts are really objectionable, I don't think a buyer will go ahead... But who knows? People have all kinds of reasons for buying things, and that includes bjds that they may really like parts of. :D

      Me... I try to like the whole doll, but there have been parts I haven't cared for much on some dolls, but I can't REALLY dislike parts. The parts I like have to overcome any other parts I don't like. But I try to get dolls that I like most everything about. That's not always true, though.

    17. Luts Zuzu Delf Lio: the ears really did it for me. I love his ears! And his claws and his tail.
      Soom Sammi: the fantasy parts. I don't really care for the face all that much.
      DC Baby body: because it has an unusual shape with that big butt.
      MC(/T) Michelle: her nose and skincolor.

      I have noticed I generally take a liking to sculpts with romantic eyes and full lips.

    18. There's usually one feature that stands out to me on all my dolls, it's usually the eyes or lips but I'm also a big sucker for ELF EARS, too.

    19. Why do you think half of my collection (or more) are hybrids? Heck, I've bought dolls just because I wanted their hands, and sold off the rest of the doll once I switched the hands out (fuly disclosed in the sale, obviously).

    20. That happened to me too. As someone already has mentioned it, i bough one head just because of the lips. Hands also do attract me a lot in the doll, which might make me buy the whole body because of it haha. Particulalry my Gluino, i got him because his face features were just too good.
