1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Yes, letting your mind rest is very useful, especially for creative types. Your brain is actually thinking in the background, like clockwork gears developing new thoughts!

    2. Ok, so I'm not a doll expert or even have a BJD yet. But I'll make an analogy to something in my life from years ago. I put myself through college and medical school by restoring old (mostly 1960's) British motorcycles, roughly 1993 to early 2000s. I loved them and had dozens over the years and rode most every day. Toward the end I was burned out, seldom rode, only did it to pay the bills (even worse when you HAVE to do it). I was in a rut from something that I had been so passionate about.

I kept one "solo" bike but it was collecting dust in the garage. So maybe 7 years ago, on kind of a whim, I got a sidecar (see profile photo). Though in many ways it's completely different (physics, technique, etc.) it's still similar enough to capture the essence, the wind in my hair. And have the added benefit of taking the dog or getting groceries.

So a couple of weeks ago I dusted off the solo bike and got it serviced. Riding home I realized how much I loved it and how much I missed it. Time spent away? Maybe 10 years.

So what's a doll correlate to this? Not sure. Perhaps different size. Different material of construction. Different appearance (dream). A USB sticking out of it's back?
