1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you get Soom Amphibel's wings to stay together?

Jul 23, 2012

    1. Hello fellow owners, I just received my girl and the wings are driving me crazy they just fall apart. Can you all tell me how you solved this problem or is there a nack to it?

      Thankies muchly in advance. :pcupcake

    2. Any help please ?

    3. I have the same problem/question.

The upper part of the wings attaches to her back just fine, but the lower (end) part will not stay attached.

    4. I just received my Cass with Amphibel body through F-SG Free Choice Event 2013 WR. My problem is I don't even know How to attach the lower (end) part to the upper part of the wings. :? I guess that there should be some sort of mechanism through magnets. I'm wondering if the magnet should be glued in the hole of the upper part, or it should have been installed IN the upper part? I've checked the upper part against light, and there is no magnet in it. I will really appreciate it if any owner of Amphibel here could give me some ideas about the wings. Many thanks!:)

    5. I purchased my Amphibel body back in November and I still haven't figured it out. Thanks for making this thread, hopefully someone will be able to help :D

    6. Has anyone gone to Soom's original Amphibel page? There are instructions on how to insert the wings into the back.

    7. I asked Soom about this issue, and here is the reply from Victoria:

"Actually you do need any magnet to attach those parts together.

All you need to do is to glue them together.

Take the smallest part of the wing, then put the larger one on top of it and match the hole.

Then take the small round white resin piece, lather some strong glue on the lower part of it and put this resin piece to cover the hole and assemble the two wings parts together."
