How long have you been a member of DoA?

It'll be 15 years in June for me.

 

18 years in May for me.

....I just recounted that 3 times, because there is no way I'm old enough to have been a member of a forum for long enough that my membership could vote, right? Or my first doll, for that matter!

 

It'll be 10 years this May! I should note, though, that I got my first doll in 2013 and I'd been saving to join the hobby since late 2009 by that point, so it's been almost 15 years of bjds. That's over half of my life at this point.

Yeesh, now I feel ancient...

 

It will be 16 in June for me! Time flies!

 

11 going on my 12th year! Time goes by so fast

 

18 going on 19 for me!

 

My account will turn 9 this December, in human years that would mean that my account is in 2nd grade and started learning english as a second language

 

It'll be 16 years in July for me.

 

It's going to be nineteen years for me in August, but I was a long-time lurker, back when you didn't need to be a member to see/read everything. It was right around the time when DoA had migrated from Y! Groups I believe, but I'm an old fart, so I might be making stuff up now. (:

 

I just celebrated my 17th year as a member in January.

(But, I was also a lurker in 2006. Finally joined in 2007.)

 

Looks like I’m the first newb to post, I’ll be at 3 years on February 11th. I have been collecting other dolls since 2001 but didn’t start buying bjd until 2021.

 

It will be 5 years on DOA for me in August although 2024 will mark 6 years in the hobby for me as I started back in 2018 but didn’t make an account on here until 2019… 2018 suddenly feels like a really long time ago

 

I've been on DOA since 2007, so 16 years this November -- I was interester in the hobby one year before joining, and didn't get my first doll until 2008

 

Ive been since 2018, when I bought my pukipuki and turned legit only.

 

I was smart…the very first thing I did when I first learned about these dolls at a lecture was to run right home and sign up on Den of Angels. (That lecturer certainly gave great information!) I’ve been here every single day for 18 years come August.

And still enjoying the discussions, sewing threads & seeing new names as well as names I'm happy to see regularly. My friends had already discovered bjds well ahead of me so there was lots for me to catch up on in 2009 after seeing a bjd for the first time in 2008.

 

I’ve been here 15 years. Wow. Seems like yesterday. I signed up to help research for my first bjd. I enjoy the discussions, projects, crafting tutorials and patterns. About half of my crew were purchased from the MP.
