Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Impish girls molds? - Please help

    1. So I'm researching and saving to order my first little angel and i really want to make an informed and educated decision about who to buy first.

      Right now I'm leaning towards DZ Shoyo because I like her smile (so many of the dolls don't smile and for my first I wanted one with a bit of a happy look).

      I'm starting to think I'd like one with kind of an impish "I did something naughty and you haven't found out yet" kinda expression. I looked through the pages of dolls that I've already saved pics and info on and I didn't see one quite like that.

      So the question is.... Can anyone here think of a girl msd doll that has that kind of look to her? (I'm thinking a slight smile and rebellious look in the eye)

    3. I think Butterfly Narae can definitely have that look about her, depending on how she's painted. Angelmecha's Butterfly (formerly lyn_r's) is a great example. I agree with the suggestion of Supia Yan, too. :3

    4. I'd say MSD Hisui, the combination of eyeshape and mouth tend to give her a very impish look.

    5. It depends on face-up, really. Not that many dolls have "smiling" eyes-- the aforementioned Butterfly Narae does, though. So if you lower the eyebrows and widen the mouth with a face-up, you can get that kind of impish expression from most girl dolls, as long as they were sort of smiling and cheeky in the first place. :) Here are some that I think have great potential, though almost anyone can apply:

    6. Bluefairy Niky on one of the BF girl bodies, you can choose boob size. Niky is seriously one of the cheekiest, smirkiest molds out there.

    14. I think if you want to stay with DZ then Nina or Demi would be perfect.

      Keep in mind, the personality of your doll is all in the eyebrows!!!!!

      Demi's default pictures remind me of the batman character Harley Quin, thus my feelings.

    15. Personally, I've always though Bluefairy Niky (as a girl; they do him as either) is really cute and impish looking. I also second the Volks Hisui; I have a Kohaku, the same sculpt in a boy version, and he looks like he's always up to something. XD

    17. Thanks so much for all the suggestions! Now I have so many to choose from ... what will I do!

      I already ordered my shoyo for my first doll but I'm thinking one of these should be my second. I'm gonna have to print pictures of all their cute little faces and look at them for a while to see who it should be : )
