Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Hello there! Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I hope it isn't!
      I just ordered my second doll- an Iplehouse Edwin JID in peach gold skin- to be my character Cecil. This is a change from my original plans to get a Limhwa Mono, but I am so in love with Edwin's sculpt and Iple's peach gold skin that I had to get him... only a ~$150 upgrade... :sweat

      I am crazy excited about getting my second doll! I NEED people to gush with me about him! I would love to hear info on the Iple skin tones (especially peach gold) and anything else about people's JIDs! (personal first impression, how you got/ how long you waited for/ your doll, anything!) I am so excited! WAH! ;)

    3. These posts will probably be merged into the regular JID discussion thread as soon as a mod sees them, but I thought I'd throw in a quick comment anyway. Edwin is so new that no one has received him yet. So far my Edwin order is the only one in the Iplehouse waiting room, so be sure to add yourself to the list. (Go to Forum--Community--Doll Arrivals--Waiting Rooms.) Lots of great discussion and information there, too!

      I am getting Edwin in normal skin. My last JID was peach gold and I am not in love with the color. It photographs beautifully but in person it's a bit too pink for my taste. I'm hoping he yellows a little so it looks more like skin.

[MENTION=65815]Novemberkris[/MENTION], is it weird I feel like I already kinda know you? :P While trying to decide whether or not to get a Mono, I stalked a lot of your photos. Rory and James are adorable! I'm nervous to see how this Edwin will work out- my reasoning for getting him instead of Mono was that I didn't really feel like getting a sculpt too similar to Limhwa Lily and I've always like Iple's dolls. Don't know how the peach gold will go, as there are extremely few references online and everybody has a different shade of it in a photo... I'm excited to find out, though!

    5. Shipping used to take 3-4 months from order date, but Iplehouse has been getting much better (i.e., quicker) lately. It's more like 2 months now. In the case of a brand new sculpt, like Edwin, I'm not sure. They may wait until they have enough orders before starting on him. Or not. They usually work in color batches, so one day they will work on normal skin, another day peach gold, another day real skin, etc. I ordered near the end of March and did a layaway which I paid off in April. No telling when he will ship. People who do a longer layaway will sometimes get an email reminding them to pay off their doll. That usually means that the doll is ready to ship as soon as Iple gets the rest of the money.

      I notice your signature says he is in transit. Did you get an email from Iplehouse saying he had shipped? If you did, you should receive him within a few days of shipping. If you are going by the status on your My Iple page on their website, it should say Shipping (in green). If your status says Payment completed (preparing to deliver) (in blue), that message appears as soon as they verify your payment and stays there throughout the making of your doll. It would be a lot clearer to people if that message said Payment completed (making your doll).

      Haha, too funny about "knowing me". My first doll was a JID Owen--I love him! His head is so much bigger than the Limhwa heads (but it doesn't seem as weird with him next to Rory as it does with James). I have him on the model body, normal skin from 2013, but I think he wants the new hands >_< My grandmother says he needs the new hands, haha.

I guess I should change my signature, I really mean that he is somewhere in the process of going from there to here, somehow (whether that be in the making or what have you :P) I don't think he has shipped. I am a little worried because I payed in full yesterday as I have been saving up since January but my status still says "before payment". Also, I hope he ships sooner than later as I go off to college in a few short months. But thanks again for the information!

    8. If you paid in full only yesterday, he hasn't shipped. Iplehouse is closed until May 6 because of holidays--that's why your status hasn't changed to Payment Completed. They will change it as soon as they come back to work. You can order and leave messages while they're away, but nothing gets done until they get back.

    9. [MENTION=65815]Novemberkris[/MENTION] have you seen Edwin's sculpt? I think he suited my character better than mono did as I wanted a sort of "innocence corrupted" kind of theme with my character, like he's super cute and sweet but fell hard and fast and is not adjusting well (gonna get tats like you won't believe during my summer holiday). I might get a mono anyways in the future to be Aya's twin; I was thinking about it awhile ago.

    10. My doll is a Iplehouse JID Tatiana and I am currently turning her into Snow White. Right now I am waiting one two dresses, two headbands with bows, and a pair of eyes to be made for my doll. I am so excited to get those things and will make a doll profile one she has everything and can get a better photo-shoot. My avatar is what she looks like so far. Right now, she has lavender eyes, but I plan on putting in brown anime eyes to look even cuter!
