It's 2005... what are your plans for this year?

To better limit my spending. OMG. I'm in some financial hot water right now, feeble grin. I must do better at not buying everything I see; must do better at going "Yes I LOVE that, I MUST have that" and getting something, versus "oh that's cute" and purchasing items I'm just sort of lukewarm over.

Must do better at more quickly turning around items that arrive and then I don't care for.

Now for the fun part (I didn't mean to be a wet blanket here, lol)...

1) a DD body and open eye head for with the head I just won from kittytoes; thought an open eyed head would be cool to play with too
2) A blossom body May
that's it for now... maybe some sort of boy, did everybody see the Event Eun? I think he is really really cool!

 

Right now, all I'm really interested in is Unoa-Lite Azurite. Sure, I'd love Soo, the Ssin boy, Kaede & Sweet, but let's be realistic. ops:

 

Oooh, fun! ^_^ Okay, first on the list this year is to a Standard Volks Kohaku so that Link can have a decent body, and some MSD optional hands. Also, Link needs a gown, so that's pretty high on the list, too. Kei might also be getting a new face-up, but that's still very much up in the air, as the artist I would really love to use doesn't usually take commissions and doesn't speak English. After all that, I might start saving for another FCS doll, but that's too far off to really tell.

I'm hoping to get Xiao + blossom body and my first big BJD and girl BJG who will remain a secret until I get her which won't be for a longggg time. Either that or my dream doll.

 

So far I have ordered DOD Si ^^; I dunno if I will buy more dolls this year. Maybe..

 

My big plan is to get Amara a boyfriend. He will either be a Narin (the leading contender) or the new dollmore MSD sized boy, if he ever comes out.

Probably it will be Narin though, as I really love his little face.

Other than that I have lots of doll plans, for OOAK's, outfits for MSD, stuff to sell. Other than that I really want to get better at taking pics of my dolls. My pics are just woefully unprofessional looking.

 

Oooh fun topic idea! Well I am the type of person who plans ahead like crazy lolz. So I got lots of plans!

Well first I need to pay for the F08 head I just won off of Y!J lolz I hope with the fees it's not too bad......... I can pay for that on thursday hehe.

Then no dolls until after Sakura Con in april! I must be firm with that. Well it won't be too hard actually.... it's the slower period of work right now. Then next I need to order a MSD carrying case. I am thinking I'll get one of the souldoll ones (I wonder if it can fit two!). I might also get a pair of eyes because to combine shipping hehe. Then Moira needs her newfaceup by Arella! After she's back home. Closer to april I hope to have Kiriko Moth coat, suede and re-string Moira's body!

Then after Sakura Con I can start saving up again, I am hoping my tax return will help fund that. Then I'll order my Tender Yen named Keelan wheee! I might end up getting my F08 Sioned a body first though....... Only if I find one here or on Y!J or ebay for a good deal XD. But I kinda want to order Keelan first (he has 4 wigs and some clothes waiting for him). While I am awaiting Keelan's arrival I'll save up for Sioned's body! I hope to get her a SD13 pureskin body hehe.

Once I get her body I can order her a few things, a wig or two and some outfits. I want to get some KK outfits for sure wheeee!

In the late summer or fall I plan to order a RML R-01 head and a CP Boy body for him. He'll get a faceup, wigs etc XD. His name is going to be Allyn. In the winter I'll get another MSD boy......... It might be U or I am thinking maybe a Ttory elf hehe.

These are plans though so they might change hehe. But Sioned is for sure since I won the head wheee.

 

this is quite timely, as I was just revising my "dolls I will someday own" list this morning. ops: Right now I'm waiting on the arrival of two dolls, an Elfdoll Min del Ray and Secretdoll Yomo, so one of them will become my first doll of the new year. After them, come February or March, I plan on ordering my first full sized doll, a FCS SD13 girl, the identity of whom I'm going to keep under wraps for a little while longer, at least until I place the order, anyway. :wink: Needless to say, though, I'm dreaming about her already. Other than that... uh, my bank account will need a definite break. ops: But when the next Unoa preorder comes around, you'd better believe I'm nabbing a Sist.

 

I want a Pocket Fairy Yoko and a Unoa Lusis. Other than that, I have no other "doll" plans. I think they might complete my collection. I really would like to get a Madoka and a Cyndy, but those are far reaching goals. hehe

Other than the two dolls, I'd like to get some more clothes and what not. hehe

 

LOL... plans for 2005 would be to be able to retain the dolls that I have.

I chalked up abit on "the BRAT" and my wallet is feeling the pinch for it~He might have to go if anything urgent comes up...

I managed to get my mum interested in BJDs and SHE GOT ONE for her birthday~a beautiful limited CH Archangel Asrafel (my mum named her Dior~ Well, my grandma will hopefully be making clothes for this beauty). This year itself is to get my family interested in my hobby and to be clear what it is and is not.

This year, I don't think I will be getting any new doll unless they "bug" me in everything I do. I just want to enjoy my current BJD family and develop their characters. Hopefully I can get a website set up for them (this will take months..coz I am no good in doing websites/java/etc etc). My brat of the house, wants me to get a harem of beauties for him using my plastics, BUT I refused.

I however, have plans to get/make some outfits and accessories:

1) A well tailored suit for SD13 long legged boy
2) A sweet outfit set for Amelie (I did some sketches)
3) New eyes for Dean
4) Naughty wild shirts for Mirki
5) An Couple outfits for my lovebirds, Amelie and Dean.
6) Setting up a "house" setting for my family.

Ooo, fun! My doll plans for the year:

1) a CP boy doll! I plan to buy that new boy as soon as he comes out, or an Elf Chiwoo if for some reason I don't like the new boy.
2) Another doll around mid-year, probably a Leekeworld Sweet or maybe a DOD boy, Dark Elf Soo, or El, depending on what I can afford.

Other than that, I plan to et some cute MSD size shirts, lolita dresses, and a school uniform, plus some pants for my boy.

 

My plan is to finally get a doll (likely a Si or Tommy) while remaining financially stable.
So, get a job. Get a doll.Take pictures of Zo eating it's brains. All that stuff.

My definite doll plans for the coming year:
--Lycoris (my Sharmin-type) needs a boy. Depending on which one I like better, he will either be the Serendipity boy Sharmin (which hasn't been released yet... hopefully sometime this month... want pictures!!!) or some other guy...
--I will acquire a guitar case and customize it to hold my dolls. I want a case to hold all of them, so a violin case is too small, but I think a guitar case would work!
--Put up a website for my dolls. This is Very Important, Priority One. Heh.
--Find/make clothes for my PF May which is on the way. She also needs a Monique wig (or three. i am a wig-fiend.) and maybe new eyes, we'll see.
--My Elf Ttory head needs a Kid Delf girl body! And a name.

My not-so-definite, really-these-are-pipe-dreams plans for the year:
--SatoFCS SD13 Sunlight skin girl with navy hair and dark blue eyelashes and eyes.... Or maybe SD13 Yori... *sighs*
--Sanding Sabine's (Delf Lishe) face to give her cheekbones and getting her a new faceup. I'm just too scared to do it!

This is only for this second. Tomorrow, my plans will probably be different! LOL

I'm pretty much satisfied with Isao for the next year but if I can spring for a Shirou I'll definately go for it. I do plan to do another DD so I can put her in another one of those cute KK Workshop outfits and Luts boots.

Well, let me see. I'm still waiting for my Hypermaniac Ksy. It's been three weeks since I ordered her, and I haven't heard anything. So my immediate plan is to check on that sometime this week.

I'm kind of in the same boat as Sher...I really need to curb my spending. I saw another doll the other day that I want, but...I need to chill out on that one for now. I'll probably re-do face-ups sometime this year for Kyan and maybe Domino and Draven, too.

My only other plans are to continue sewing for the dolls I have, and maybe sell some things on Ebay. And I will continue to enjoy DOA and all the great people here!!!!

I'd like to start unintentionally stockpiling my money again. So when something comes along that I feel I absolutely need, like when El stops being out of stock, I can afford it. With that in mind, it's not looking good so far. I need to stay at work to be able to do this and because I hate it there so much, whenever they give me the option to leave early, I always take it.

Other than that, I'd like to find the time to start making my own doll. I don't know how that's going to happen with me with work and school, but I'll see about that. Hopefully.
