Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Leekeworld Gentle or Real Body? Pros and Cons?

    1. I have no idea how to decide between a Leeke Gentle or Real body. Can owners give me some input?

    3. I have the real body

      it's really nice, a very childlike body, my girl is 11 years old. She can stand fantastic, sit well to, but if you put her down in a chair without supporting her back she can fall back. I dont like the way her elboy joints work, they are double jointed but cant bend as fas as my other dolls double jointed arms. But i believe the gentle body has the same arms and legs as the real body.

      I do nitpick on her hands, I find them to big, her big sister is a Souldoll and she has very nice slender hands so my little girls hands look a tad big, I would prefer the hands on the gentle body but Leeke wont sell them separete to me :(

      ps: I think this is in the wrong section cous the real and gentle body are msd

      It's massive, but has some great info about the Gentle and Real bodies. Anyway I have a gentle body so I can tell you about it:

      I chose the Gentle body because it looked nicer on the official pics, and really it's a very pretty body with nice, but not overdone muscles. I love looking at it^^

      Posability-wise...it can stand like a rock and with a bit sueding in the knees it can also do many bend-knee poses. The arms as a whole also pose nicely, but the elbow joint has less mobility than some other double-jointed elbows (actually...the limbs are the same on both bodies^^).

      Now for the negative - The Gentle body's lower torso joint has a very limited moveability so you can't bend his torso forward or backwards. You can twist it though, but not much. That means that when sitting he bends backward (if you pose him carefully the bending backwards can be minimised, but it'll never disappear). I've asked a Real body-owner once and she said that the Real body also bends backwards while sitting...but you may want to ask others about this because when I asked she only had her Real body for a few days...

      I think aside from this sitting thing the Gentle body is a nice bod, and with a little work one can pose it beautifully. And if someone prefers solid torsos without a line parting the two halves than it's perfect^^

      I can also take pictures if you want. Just tell me what (poses or just some pretty pics...:sweat)
