1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Looking for a specific doll company that's no longer in buisness

Mar 18, 2014

    1. Wasn't sure where to throw this up... I feel so stupid for not being able to remember the name, so here's hoping someone out there will know the answer to this.
Sadly I don't even have any pictures of any of their sculpts. So here comes a long description of what I know.

The company no longer sells dolls,
      They weren't widely popular
I'm fairly sure they only had four sculpts each of 1/3 boys, 1/3 girls, 1/4 boys and 1/4 girls. If they had any 1/6 scale dolls, I don't remember.
I'm fairly sure they were based in China.
I want to say their bodies were single joint, they didn't do tan/specialty colours.
I have a vague recollection of the companies website having a pale blue/teal back ground.

I've tried scrolling through long lists of company names, but nothing pops out at me. I thought they were called Doll-Love or Ai-Doll, but neither of those is right. If anyone can help me with figuring out what company this was/is that'd be a huge help. There was a boy sculpt I was looking into getting for a character once upon a time, but decided not to spend the money at the time. Now a year later I can't even remember the company name to look for second hand dolls.
      Sorry for wasting your time!

    2. Do you remember what the doll you wanted looked like? Colour/style of wig, eye colour? Special clothing?

Also could you be thinking of Laidoll? Because if so, they're still around and call themselves Angel Fantasy now. Otherwise, hard to say. We've lost a bunch of companies over the years. If they were around a year ago, it's probably not Laidoll. That change happened awhile back.

The only company I can think of is R.A.O.N. Dream, but aside from the fact I love Ian, I don't remember much about them, either. I know there are others who have disappeared more recently, but I can't say I know enough about them to recall their names.

    3. Ummmm...Angelsdoll? Buddydoll, maybe? Do you remember what the boy doll looked like? Was he 1/4 or 1/3??

    4. Custom House had some dolls called Ai-something, I think? :0

    5. Could it be dragondoll? But I think they are still up :/
