I recently got a fang head, that has been my grail doll forever. I'm so happy. I got her faceup and wig commissioned so she is finally done. This is my girl Na Mi Rae

@KiwiNinamori I'm so excited to show Kino off! This doll is pure magic. It's like Nuria managed to design my ideal girl somehow. I'm hoping to get to work on her body this weekend, and the artist doing her face is usually pretty quick, so I'll likely be spamming you guys to death soon. ^^; LOVE your fang btw! It's such a wonderfully versatile sculpt, and I really enjoy her vibrant nature theme. :3

 

I have an Ophelia in Cookie skin coming my way on Monday! I bought her secondhand but she's never had a faceup, so I'll be sending her off almost at once! I can't wait to have her, she's been my grail for quite awhile! She's going to be a werewolf from the book series I've been writing. I'm so excited to see her come to life

I paid off my chocolate milk Zuri yesterday! I'm so excited to get her! I'm trying to find clothes for her and I'm hoping an 8.5 inch wig will fit her.

I just got progress pics of my Zuri, and OMG I can't wait to show her off here! I normally paint my own dolls, so it's a real treat to get to see another artist work on one. X3

@Marvel I have a leeke 8-9 wig for my girl, and it's a bit big but looks fine (I wanted her to have a ton of hair, so it was a trade off). She definitely has an 8 inch head, so 8-9 will be big and require a cap or velcro, and 7-8 will be snug/just right depending on the company and your preferences. Think Supia/(old!)Dollshe standards if you want to hunt around the forum to see what might work.

 

Okay thank you so much! I have an 8.5 inch wig coming from etsy that I would love if it fit her. I want mine to have a lot of hair as well! I also have a 7 inch from the same seller that is coming but I'm afraid might be lost but if it shows up I think one of those will fit! My boyfriend has a 7-8 so there is that too if everything else fails lol! I can't wait to see Kino she's going to look so cute!

 

I just bought a caramel Fang second hand and am looking for clothes while I wait for her.

I got an SD Volks dress for her but read somewhere that Komorebi body is similar width to an MSD.
Does anyone have experience with putting MSD or other 1/4 clothes, for girl or boy on a Komorebi body?

The smallest doll I have is a Zaoll, so I don't have much experience with MSD sizes.

 

I can only speak with my own experience, which isn't with a wide range of clothes. I have two JID girls and a slim mini. To me, the Komorebi body is a little in between, as sizes go. They could potentially wear larger MSD sizes like my JID girls, but personally everything I own that I use on my Fang is SD size. Specifically I have nine9style, ttya, and tree design bjd items. SD tops can be a little large on the Komorebi body, while MSD tops can be a little small (tighter fit and shorter sleeves). I think in that regard it's more of a personal preference than anything else. I like them looser so I can mess with the fit a bit and get it where I want it, but I have also seen them in MSD tops. In terms of bottoms, though, I would probably stick with SD. MDR girls definitely have hips! Most MSD items won't be wide enough or will end up looking really short.
