@Ilzar You've done so well! She's lovely! I hope you will post loads more photos of her for us. I like the combination with the dark lips and the red hair. You're making me want that for one of my dolls too. Do you have ideas for her styling yet?

 

I'd like her to be a witchy instagramer, but I'm still practicing with the sewing machine (I had to hand sew the t-shirt she is wearing in the images above)

 

@Blankqueen I don't think I had seen the picture you shared yet! Thanks for sharing them, they're beautiful! I almost missed the notification for them somehow, sorry :P! You've really got a skill for photography at this scale, the accessories and the clothes look awesome! What is it about Lili's sculpt that makes her suit those hats so well?

Do you have an instagram? I've not gotten around to working out how flickr works socially I've followed you on there, so we'll see how I go. Your photography and styling is just so good, you make all the Mirodoll sculpts look really beautiful! Just shows that good care and styling can really bring these lovely dolls to life.

@Ilzar Your first face-up looks awesome! Good job on the winged eyeliner, it looks stylish. Looking forward to seeing your witchy Lili take form

 

Sounds like a fabulous plan! I've never been very good with the sewing machine, but I've managed with a lot of practice to make some simple things for my dolls. Have fun with your girl and do share some pics with us of the process!

 

@ella_tron Awww, thanks so much! I just love my Mirodolls. Something about them just invites me to try new styles and ideas a bit more bravely than some of my other dolls. I'm lucky to have a super talented seamstress friend who makes my custom clothing dreams come true. My friend makes those hats for my Lili too. I love them for her.

I do have an IG account, but there's nothing there. Something about the IG format just does not agree with me. I find it not optimal for photos and I'm reluctant to use mobile devices. A lot of doll people have abandonned Flickr lately, but it still works better for me. I hope you stick around. I'd love to chat with you and share our Lili love! I'm following you already too!!

Wow, that sure is a vibrant tone! It would lend itself nicely for an exciting fantasy project. I wish I had the vision and nerve to try some of these funky colour dolls sometime. Grey is as far into the fantasy tone realms as I've dared to venture into.

I'm just spamming away here. I'm hoping others will join me and how me what you're doing with your darlings. Any more pics of Peng? I'd love to see. Anyways, I'm just so inspired by my Lili and Yaya at the moment. The girls went into the woods a week or so ago. We didn't have any leaves in the trees yet at this point, so it looks almost like it's autumn, but that's early May, I swear...

 

@jhiggi Thanks jhiggi!! I hope you will get your girls out for some play!! I'm having such a blast right now with my mini Miro sisters. I know what you mean about the newer, 2nd version, body. Mine wasn't like crazy floppy or anything, but to improve it yet I did wire mine, and now it works fabulously: holds poses and stands like a trooper (even if mine is strung quite loosely even for wider range of movement). It's definitely worth trying. I'm getting this newest body soon! I love the different shape with the wider hip too. Both my girls are going to get to try it, bit I feel like maybe Yaya is going to get to have it, because I tend to think of her as the big sister. I don't have the oldest body at all.
