1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. * What did you order? Monique Gold "Pretty Girl" wig, size 8-9 in Carrot Red and "Ready to Rumba" 72mm black heels.

      * When did you order?
      June 29, 2010.

      * Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer?
      Directly through the company.

      * How was the communication?
      Excellent! A representative was helping me thorough email every step of the way.

      * How easy was it to pay? The representative made it very easy for me and was able to accommodate me processing payment on 2 different gift cards for me.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Payments were all processed by July 2nd and I I received the package July 9th, so it was really fast!

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Most definitely. The products are of superb quality. I recommend their wigs as the best I've ever touched.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes it did.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      I am ecstatic about the wig. It's perfect, it fits, the colour is right, and the craftsmanship is amazing.
      The shoes on the other hand, didn't fit. I ordered 72mm shoes because my doll's feet are 68mm. I was surprised that they didn't fit, and when I measured them, they are 64mm, but the package says 72mm. Not sure if I can include pictures on here, but I want to show that I did measure the whole shoe, not just from toe to heel in a straight line.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I emailed the rep. again to let her know the shoes didn't fit, and that they were the wrong size. The rep emailed asking me what the tag said. I told her I didn't have a tag. I couldn't find it at the time, but when I did, I emailed back letting her know I found the tag, and that the tag says 72mm, but the shoes aren't. I haven't heard back from them yet, but I only found the tag on the 17th of July, so it's only been 4 days, as today is the 21st of July. I will update if and when I get more info.
      UPDATE:
      Got email back from Monique rep. on August 11, and the message states that " After inspecting the stock that we have here, it looks like that style is all that sizing. When we made the 72mm, it was made only specifically for the American Model dolls. Any other dolls, run the risk of them not fitting. We cannot send a replacement because, they are all the sizing you received for the #7019. Would you like me to look into another shoe?".
      The website still states that the shoe is available in 72mm.
      I just thanked them and left it at that since I couldn't find any other shoe on the site that I liked in the right size.

      * Would you order from this company again? Wigs? Definitely. Shoes? DEFINITELY NOT.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      Definitely. Wigs are great quality. I wouldn't bother with the shoes, since they can't measure them properly.

      So to close, I am VERY happy with the wig and will definitely get more. But I am VERY disappointed with the shoes and will never buy them again or recommend them for shoes to anyone.
