Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Most articulated SD girl bodies?

    1. * not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, if not Mods please feel free to move it to the right location *

      Hi everyone!

      I need to start saving up for a new body, and this time I really want to give my girls a fully articulated body that is also visually appealing! I was thinking maybe a double jointed torso (no joint below the waist), double jointed arms to touch her face, jointed thighs for swarriko poses, and double jointed knees that can help my girl to fold her legs fully, and no heel feet. I am specifically not a fan of luts or fairyland shoulder joints, and their thigh caps!
      and so far i like the older dollzone body, and the new company MaskCat SD girl body.

      Please feel free to make suggestions!! :)

    2. Shinydoll Thaasa would be my suggestion. She's a petite little thing but poses beautifully and I love the way the knee looks, both while sitting/kneeling and standing.

    4. Yep, thirding the ShinyDoll recommendation. She meets all of your criteria save for the double jointed elbows, but her joints are constructed in such a way that she can touch her face anyway. It's not a highly detailed body though, so if you are looking for modern aesthetics you might not be entirely sold. She is definitely the most natural poser in photos.

    5. Thanks, Scuzz and Dominique :) you guys are right, Thaasa body is highly pose able, I really like it ... but might be a little small for the head I have in mind, and would be a little too expensive, over $500 with shipping >.<

      St. James, totally agree with you on the body detail. The overall look of the body is a bit like obitsu bodies, and the curves are not very defined!
