Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. That is a Re-Che with a face-up by Kyante. He/She was released a while back as a head for SD sized body. Musedoll has said they will release Re-Che again but no confirmed definite time has been given.

    5. When Re-Che was first released in the fall of 2005 he was released as a head only in white and normal skin. Musedoll said they would be re-releasing Re-che sometime later this year but this time they'll be selling him with his very Musedoll boy body! If his new release is similar to Ciels, then he'll only be avilable in normal skin.

      I'm curious as to what kind of body they'll come up with. Since he was released without a body the first time around (and there was no Ciel yet) many people made girl dolls out of him, I only know of one other boy Re-Che on DoA other than my Max.

      Can't wait to see their re-release of him.
      I would really want white skin, though....>__<
      Anyone know how rare the white skin heads are on the secondary market? ^^;

    8. Well...

      When the white skin Re-Ches have popped up in the DoA Marketplace or Y!J recently they've all been panited up to be girls- really girly girls. So you could get one, but you'd be paying for the really nice face-up and then wiping it if you needed him to be a boy agan. I haven't seen any show up blank. :(

      I'd recommend waiting to see the Re-Che release before trying to hunt down a white head. The body might be compelling enough to make you overlook the fact that he might only be avilable in normal skin. If you do find a white head, it is a perfect match to iplehouse white (unless their coloring has changed with the release of body versions 3 and 4).

    9. Thanks for posting these pictures! :D I could look at them forever. Ah, Kyante is a genius. I think Re Che mold is best as a gorgeous boy but aside from the musedoll site I had only seen the mold done up as a girl. I love the stylized bodies of the Musedoll girls so I really can't wait to see how the male body looks.

      Btw are you familiar if the makeup artist Kyante work only exclusively for Musedoll? Dose he/she do faceup for other dolls via commision? And how would I go about contacting this person? (sry- it's a lot of questions ><)
      I've been drooling over the beautiful faceups on the site for awhile, but unfortunatley they only custom for their own dolls. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. =)

    15. Kyante is the original sculptor of the Re-Che head and her friend, whose name I don't know, runs Musedoll and is the orignal sculptor of Ciel. They planned together to make a boy and girl set!

      I've only ever seen Kyante paint different Re-Ches and Ciels and I assume she also did Thalia and Erato. She used to sell her OOAK Re-Ches on Y!J but I haven't seen any for quite a while. If she does take face-up commissions I don't know where she does it since her site has been down for more than a year. Perhaps it would be a good idea to inquire at Musedoll since she still doea work for them! :)

    16. ...Yeah, that's about what I figured. *sigh*
      I'll probably wait to see the body...the normal skin would be alright as long as it's a relatively pale normal...which it does look to be. The character he would be embodying could really be either...he's pale but not as pale as some, so the normal skin would work.
