Naked or not? That is the question...

ok, so I'm not a prude but I know this is going to make me sound like one!

I love your pics of Bonbon and Coco, but I struggle to look at them for too long, as they are so 'naked' - and I know that is silly as they are just dolls but I think it's because they are curvier than the other tinies. I had Bonbon (who went to live with Ingie) and I had to dress her as I felt embarrassed when she was naked and my son kept going to prod her nipples

But I think this says more about how I feel about my naked (curvy) body than it says about how I feel about naked dolls per se however I do find them a bit 'rude'

Saying that all mine are clothed, as part of the fun of dolls for me is in the clothing

 

I love the FF's nude, but the Contessa and Maggie seem to require bling of some sort, so they like to wear short Barbie-sized cocktail dresses as evening dresses. Snip (Bracken) wears some little suedecloth pants I made him (he is a woodland elf), but Cosme (Moona) is still the only one who is naked. She is a water nyiad and I just haven't found the right fabric to suit her. I've been in a tiny frenzy lately and several tiny people arrived at once, so poor little Cosme has been sadly neglected. Maybe soon, I'll get back to her.

 

I think some of the tinies, especially Coco and Bonbon look quite natural in the buff. I am kind of a clothes-girl myself too though, I just enjoy finding the perfect wardrobe for my dolls. However I could see myself just gracing a BonBon in a simple necklace. More likely I'd go for one of the minimal elfin looking outfits that just cover the most intimate bits though.

 

I can tell you, Coco prefers to be "au naturel". Nothing suits that Diva except diamonds and chocolate!

I have no problem leaving some of my tinys nakie , its not because I havent bonded ...I just love the body or it suits the character

 

LOL! My dark Coco is coming and I am very much afraid that she will want diamonds too. (I'll take the chocolate.)

 

Mine are clothed too, with very few exceptions (like those being used for measurement/fit models, or waiting for something like wiring/sanding, or comparison pics). Even Oskadis (my Kkotmu) wore a vest. It's not just my tinys, I'm like that with all of them. I just feel neglectful if I haven't dressed them, and I haven't had any so far that demanded to be naked. I'm a strange one.

However, I have no issue with others having naked dolls or posting pictures of them.

 

My Puki is so cute nekkid that I sometimes just leave her that way. She seems to pose better unclothed too...

 

Lucie my Banji girl has been naked for some weeks now, she only wears socks and ugg boots haha, i just think she is so cute, like the little body.

Linnea my Min Del Re is also sometimes naked, or sometimes only wears pants, i love the tiny body sculpt and thinks it's so cute.

i have no problems with naked tinies (or other sizes for that matter), all my dolls i got because i love their sculpts and sometimes i leave them naked.
i do whatever i feel like, dressing them is fun, trying new mixes of clothing, and having them naked is fun too.

 

I own two tinies, a Bobobie Blue demon, and an Orientdoll Winged Vampire, and I always leave them naked.

At that size, I consider them to be "cherubs", and in classical painting cherubs were generally left naked. Who am I to argue with the great Masters, and besides they look so darn cute naked!

 

I love seeing the Bonbon's/Coco's naked, but I'm having a hard time staring at your girl, I think because of her nipples. ^^;;;; But in general, I like seeing the curvy bodies of Tinybear's Fat Fairies. ^^ Just my two cents on those particular tinies.

 

I just love the Witley wood elves without clothing! LOL I wasn't thinking (though on hindsight I should have known) that my darling BonBon would offend my sister because she was nude, LOL. Unfortunately, because of my carelessness, my sister said some nasty things, causing BonBon to insist on wearing clothing for a time. But I believe I've convinced her that clothing should only be optional depending on the weather, LOL.

Recently, my BonBon, Schatzi, snuck a peek at this site and saw some of the lovely jewelry the girls have been posted here with, and has made it known she wants some too! LOL. So I need to get some of that stretchy new string stuff and make her some Jewelry I don't mind, I think she'd look great too!

But to answer the question, no, I'm not offended. I think they're adorable, but at the same time, I'm very weird, as my daughter tells me all the time, and so you shouldn't go by what I think, LOL..... but then do! Because I like your photostory! I like it that they're so comfy in the nude.

After all, why call it "al natural" and then get all nervous about it? (eh, don't listen to me, after all, I'd be in a nudist colony if I haddn't married the biggest prude on the planet, LOL, but I've been breaking him down (0r he has given up on cleaning me up, LOL) ) After all, shocking him is half the fun of having him around, so.... LOL

 

Both my tinies are currently naked, although it is more due to lack of actually them having clothes than anything else, though one of them is wearing trousers to hide the fact that it is a female rather than a male body he is stuck with ^^; I have absolutely no problem with having naked tinies, or naked dollies of any kind

I really don´t see a problem in doll´s nudity, I mean they´re just dolls, a piece of art.PLus it helps appreciating the sculpt and posing possibilities

 

My pukis are naked, but all my other dolls have clothes. The puki character's just fit nekkidness

 

I've got a box full of clothes & shoes for my Moona's & Bracken's, but they really prefer running around in scraps of fabric or leather (being wood elves) They do love their shoes and Periwinkle(dark tan) loves her jewels, too.
Elastic cord is brilliant for making tiny jewelry, as is beading wire.

 

I just have one tiny and generally she's covered head to toe: socks, hats, shoes, poofy dresses, bloomers... and I think the least amount of clothing I could have on her would be if she were just wearing undergarments, but very Victorian style as that suits her character of a little Victorian doll.

I think to met that's what makes the difference is the character. Your BonBon to me looks like a little elf I'd find out in the field so it doesn't seem unnatural to see her naked.

Now, if I went ahead and super customized my girl to make her look even more like an antique porcelain doll then I could see myself posing her in naked artsy photos.

 

when Sakura had her cherry blossoms she was nekkie pretty often because it was just awesomeness but when we took off her branches, she wore clothes...it's because she's six LOL

My Baha I can't stand naked...because she has nipples...but if she didn't have them she'd be prowling in the nude...

My MSD nude is another story because she has such a beautiful body...but it creeps my mom out lol.

My PpoPpo will NEVER be naked...as she too is a human child...if she were an elf or a dryad i'd reconsider.

But my Moona will have her buff moments I'm sure...
