1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

New Cheap Clothes and Accessories for MSD Owners Coming Soon!

Feb 24, 2006

    1. I know that many MSD-sized owners have purchased Mattel's Teen Trends clothes and accessories as a cheap alternative for their dolls. (At 17 inches, the Teen Trends dolls are just an inch taller than many MSD-sized dolls.) Well, I've just came across this link that shows photos from the recent American International Toy Fair in New York City and there is not only a whole bunch of new Teen Trends clothes but also Teen Trends furniture as well. Here's the link:

      http://toyfair06.alteredstatesmag.com/mattel-girls/mattel-girls-teen-trends/index.html

There is no information about prices at that link but considering that the last batch of Teen Trends clothes retailed for $12 at places like Wal-Mart and Target, I think the new stuff will have similar low prices.

    2. Hi, ASMzine (formerly Altered States Magazine) is a website that my husband and his friends run. :) My husband and I went to Mattel's showroom at Toy Fair, and here's the info I was able to get from our showroom tour guide:

      - The Create-A-Spa furniture (including the hair attachments) are coming out in the Fall.

      - The outfits on the boxed dolls are the "back to school" assortment (probably coming out spring to summer). The outfits on the dolls on their own are the "Winter Cool" assortment (probably coming out in the fall). They didn't give a date for the separately sold fashions, but somewhere between Spring and Fall is a good bet.

      Glad you enjoyed the coverage!
