1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

New MSD sized Mature "Fashion doll" type: "Her Dream"

Sep 22, 2006

    1. I saw her too- she's lovely.

I'm not sure if she qualifies as 'on-topic' here though... given that she is listed as a fashion doll...

    2. Golly gosh, those eyes :D

I've asked them whether or not she's strung with elastic, and if she'll fit other BJD clothes/shoes - if she IS strung, then chances are she's the genuine article (That is, a 'proper' BJD rather than a regular ol' fashion doll). I'll let you guys know when they get back to me.

    3. She is very pretty but I'm not sure she's on-topic either...

BJFD (balljointed fashion dolls) have come up before and as I remember not allowed on the board... there were those two hanbok ones with rooted hair and the ones that are called 'DNA' or something...

In any case it's up to the mods so I dunno what point there is for me to mention it!

    4. Huh I have a really strange question........what about the new Unoa 2, they are 16 and the shape of them look like a fashion doll too like Tyler only bigger boobs, so why is there no one saying anything about them looking like a fashion doll all of a sudden??

    5. Yeah I agree with derilan- the new unoa dont have ball joints at hip, knee, elbow, or ankle. So are they ABJD?

    6. I'd say they belong because Unoa Second are strung, made of resin, have ball-joints (not everywhere, but they do have them), removable eyes, removable wigs, are intended for customization and still fall within Araki's unique and very distinct style just as Unoa and Unoa Light do. Though yes they do share some qualities with fashion dolls I admit. Still they are much more on-topic then not imho. They lack a waist joint and an ankle joint, but they have all the other joints elsewhere. The knee and elbow joints use an advanced system just like Berman and SD16 do.

[edit] Actually I can't tell...are their knees like Unoas or like Unoa Light? I suspect they are more like Unoa Light, but am not sure.

I'm not sure about this new doll though. It'll be great if someone can get more info about her.

    7. on her knee joint she seems to have the hole for stringing. I'm thinking she is strung with elastic.

    8. She wears wigs and has glass eyes (I'm pretty sure they're changeable). Just by LOOKING at her, I would assume she's strung. She reminds me of the Unoa 2.

Edit: In this auction you can clearly see her ball joints and the little divits in them. I'm certain she's strung. She looks just like any "full sized" bjd to me. I think it's neat she can wear Tonner fashion girl clothes. That makes it easier to get things for her. hehe

    9. Going by the nude pic in the first auction, I'd have to say she's strung. Those are definitely ball-joints at her knees and wrists. She is described as a "BJD fashion doll" ...so I'd have to say she's on-topic myself.

    10. Personally I'm not into fashion dolls myself.. but I know lots of people here are, and dress their ABJDs (of all sizes) in Western fashion doll type clothing...

This doll is 16" like MSD but with Unoa2-like proportions (big boobies, slender waist, small hands and feet)
She's made of resin and is elastic strung
Capable of changing eyes and wigs and is repaintable (ie customizable)
She's Asian, designed and made in South Korea.

      If she's off topic then I'm a monkey's uncle!
