nSID Female Body

Hi there, I don't have any undressed pics for mine, and unfortunately DOA image posting and I aren't friends so I'm afraid you'll have to take my word for it. If you want pics, just message me for my insta or discord so I can send them your way easier.

I don't think it's a very good poser and is easily one of my worst out of my collection. It's a pretty body, sure. But the thigh joint is a complete joke, and the body doesn't really want to do anything beyond the bare minimum. Quite frankly there are so so many better posing bodies for a lower price point nowadays that I feel pretty strongly that it's not an ideal option. It comes incredibly loosely strung so you will have to restring it with thinner elastic to get any mileage out of it.

The only reasons I haven't outright sold mine and upgraded my iplehouse Soo is because I want that height for her and I'd be forced to put her on a much taller body than I want in order to make a feasible hybrid. I also don't look forward to finding a resin match for her either.

My nSID is my first doll and I do like the doll a lot, but posing is not a strong suit at all. She sits and looks pretty, and that's about it.

 

I love the nSID bodies, more so the male then the female one, but I think both are good and pose much better then any of Iplehouse's other bodies. They can be a little fiddley, and I do not trust heavy dolls to stand unaided by doll-stands. Howevr I find the posing good, double so if using hotglue or kips in the joints or if you wire the dolls (though I do not personally think they need wired to pose fine.)
I do not have many pix of my nSID female bodied dolls showing them off. However here is one free standing holding a pose unaided nothing in the joints to making posing easier or hold better. Also a Vera (He is my mini me and will be getting a chest mod to have a flat male chest this summer.)

They can touch their own necks and shoulders some. They have a really nice double elbow joints for posing. (Maybe not the prettiest elbows in the doll world but they work just fine. Also knees are a bit knobby, but work fine)

This is another nSID of mine. Her arm is up a bit, but the pose might be a little closer to what you are asking about. And she can hold it unaided. She is brushing her hair back, but can touch her own shoulder.

I also have restrung pretty much all my Iplehouse dolls slightly tighter as IH strings them loose. For a few of normal skin IH dolls, I have added some hot glue for grip in the joints as it's smoother. The darker color resins from IH tend to have a little more tooth to them so they seem hold poses with less slipping out of the pose.

 

I second Tippetarius's assessment It's not a body that allows for crazy pretzel posing, there are better for that, but I also think that it is quite solid and does all the usual stuff, unlike older generation Iplehouse bodies. I feel they have really worked on improving their jointing. Some companies send their dolls strung a little looser than you want them to be because that diminishes the risk of them getting cracked in transit - it's just a precaution.

 

I’ll ‘third’ Tippetarius’s assessment. I quite like the nSID body and it does have
more mobility than the oSID version. Both are beautifully and realistically sculpted.
And yes, they often do ship out strung a little loosely - vastly better to have to do
a little tightening of the elastic cording that have to deal with broken pieces -
which is not uncommon when strung too tightly in shipping.
Also, Iplehouse has the most gorgeous hand sculpting out there with very good
range of motion there too.
