Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Obscure/unconventional/weird and unusual 'centaur' bodies

    1. We've all seen the generic horse,deer,and dragon parts but what if you could get parts for a specific animal species? (think centaur bodies,but with other animals) Now,when I say 'unconventional' I mean any animal that can't be 'created' by just painting,say,a horse body. So no zebras,donkeys,etc since those all share a general 'horse' build. Examples of some 'unconventional' parts would be things like the komodo dragons,various species of the birds of paradise,giraffes,or even seahorses/sharks. Something that was obviously sculpted to represent those animals. :)Now before you start:
      • Yes,I realize something that specific probably wouldn't sell well but I'm not really here to hope for something to be made,I just want to know what cool animals people would make if they could.
      • No,I am not looking for places to buy these/or that have photo references. See above.
      • Yes,I am aware there's already a thread that sort of touches on what I'm getting at here,but since it covers a wider range of things you 'wish' were available (such as aliens and mecha) I thought it appropriate to separate the two. I'm really only interested in the obscure,rather then getting responses like "this and this so I can make house cats/whatever breed of dog! =D" Not sayin' those parts wouldn't be equally as cool if they were made but I want to here about animals you wouldn't normally hear about/consider parts for. ^_^ (How cool would it be if they made a crocodile body,or a dinosaur? Oh! Oh! Or a moth! I would make the heck out of a Death's Head Hawk Moth. :D )
      There are far to many animals I would love to see in SD/MSD size,so I'll spare you that list. xD What are yours? :3

      Edit: I just wanted to clarify that when I say 'parts' I mean literal 'centaur' bodies,but again,with different animal bodies,so not just feet and ear parts. (I can't think of what these would be called,I know it's not 'anthro'.) Or,more advanced human to animal hybrids instead of just what companies like SOOM does with feet,digi-grade legs,wings,etc. Human faces are fine,but the bodies are a bit too human.

    2. I'd like an alpaca myself. :) Kind of like a horse body, but the torso would be maybe half the length? And fluffy. So cute~ :D

    4. I second wanting a moth. I love fairy dolls, and wish they would do more of different winged insects! I would also like to see feathered wings painted like a magpie.

    7. I'd like to see a praying mantis hybrid. These creatures are graceful and creepy at the same time. A Dragonfly or grasshopper might also be cool.

      Eh... Can't say I'm overly impressed with him to be honest,or with SOOM lately. Hes too human looking and that's not even what crocodile feet look like. :sweat

      I was thinking more along the lines of a crocodile body attached to a human (like a centaur) or a more advanced croc to human hybrid.

      A peacock would be stellar! :D (Sadly though resin wings would have to be far more intricately jointed then I think companies would be willing to make. It's great to dream though. xD )

      I actually have a sketch somewhere of a mantis character. I like the way you think. :3 Imagine if they did an orchid mantis too (I think that's what they're called).

    9. A combination horse and elephant with deer hooves. I know that sounds peculiar, but the animal, called a thorss (trunk horse), exists in my novels. Has a horse's body, an elephant's trunk, deer hooves and large, long ears.

    15. Lizards. Why are there so few lizard parts? I JUST WANT A LIZARD. I have an imp with lizard feet, but I had to sand the sculpted fur off of some Soom Syen feet to get even remotely close to lizard feet for her. Also ANATOMICALLY CORRECT lizard parts, as in, the correct number of toes! I'm in love with Soom's Ticking Crocodile parts, but no crocodilian has three toes! I love lizards so much TT~TT
