  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. OnlyDoll Is it so unpopular?

    1. OnlyDoll is another BJD Company, but why is it so unpopular?
      Hardly anyone seems to bring them up, perhaps they are just too generic or Chinese? I don't know.
      Personally, I love them! Their aesthetic is so interesting!

      What's your opinion on OnlyDoll BJDs?

    2. I have an only-doll. It's not that they're unpopular, they're still really unknown. They haven't really been advertising in the U.S. much, but they do have a certain hold on the BJD market in China.
      It might also be the fact that while they don't really have an oriental chinese aesthetic like HZ, the fullsets are which might put some people off. :]
      That's what I think anyway.
      I love my Only-Doll. He has the sweetest face ever.

    3. Like Houshi Chan said. I think they are not doing enough advertising, even thought they often have -12 % events.

      Personally I do think their fullsets are 'typical chinese' just with softer features and fantasy-hair colors, thus more anime.

      I'm planning to get my own Only-doll (or two) for next year, but there are others who have priority over them. Also, I think only-doll is among those companies with very fair prices.

    7. What puts me off the dolls is that though they have some nice heads, the breasts of the females looks weird and fake, even the small ones on the MSD girls looks like they are just balloons that are tacked on. Some of the male bodies looks weird too.

    8. I also have an OnlyDoll male YOSD, he has the sweetest face. I'm glad to know others love theirs as well. It's just a personal opinion, but I think the YOSDs are the cutest, and yes the MSDs have somewhat awkward bodies, but their faces are still very lovely. I would like to see them with Iplehouse bodies.

    9. I wouldn't say the body looks weird. It's just a little disproportionate (but try comparing to Doll Chateau [which they're awesome too]). The male MSDs have HIPS. Like woman hips. XD which makes me laugh.
      And the breasts on the females are a bit too rounded. Like they don't sag enough (this sentence makes me feel so weird and uncomfortable). But still, they deserve a little advertising. Here's a picture of my XiYu. I think he's wonderful, but a little lacking posing wise.

    10. Hi! I'm new, I have an Only-Doll, YouNan (yosd) in white skin, blank; I did a minimal face-up, I said I was new. I didn't remove his head as yet for it is too tightly strung. ( purchased Oct. 2012) I recently ordered another, an MSD, XuanYan, a girl, normal pink (six month layaway) They are precious; I adore YouNan.

    11. I have an Only Doll Xiyu in white skin, i got him last December 2011. I think that OD faces are really pretty even for a boy sculpt:)

      Personally I rather like the dolls and even the bodies. It just takes a bit to get used on how his posing works, but given I only have more than one doll from one company and the rest are pretty much all different, it's nothing that new.
      Also, I think with a little bit of hot glue sueding - which I haven't done to him yet, but pretty much all my dolls will be getting sooner or later - he'll be posing alright :)
      ... And they are so pretty... <3 I'd love to have a XiYu at a later point of time <3

      The price in yuan is 890 and it makes $144.39
      But there nothing about makeup, choice for skin color...
