Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.       * When did you order?
      28th December 2010
      * How was the communication?
      Sometimes it was very fast, sometimes it took a bit longer. She promptly responded to the problem I had, but took a couple of days to reply to non-important matters.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      By the time I was buying the head - very easy, there was a direct link to Paypal.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      It was shipped on the 4th March, so a bit more than 2 months.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes. The material is really thick and nice to the touch.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.
      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      More than that - I love it. I had a problem with a broken ear though, but that has been resolved really quickly: just a few days after I had sent an e-mail explaining the problem I was sent a new head F.O.C.

      Definitely. Especially if they make their own body.

      Very very bad in Or-Doll's website. Most of the messages in Q&A board were ignored, and I even got one reply in chinese which was very frustrating since my other two messages were ignored before that. When I decided to move from the Q&A board to e-mails, I contacted Rene directly to her e-mail and she answered within days.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy with paypal
      * How long did it take to ship?
      First came in 3 months, then another ship came within one month.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes.

      Maybe, but I would like to wait until Or-Doll would get some more experience with customer service. I wouldn't like to go this transaction again as it was very stressfull and the company was _very_hard to get ahold of.

      * How was the communication?

      Terrible. I have written/email several times to Renee only to be told to be 'patient.' Next email I was told that the artist was 'busy.' That was on April 19th. Told again to be patient. Last contact was on May 4th, saying the head would be shipped 'next week.' I wrote asking to be reimbursed for the faceup as the artist was no longer doing faceups. No response as yet and no shipping info.
      NEW: I did receive a tracking number and an apology. The head arrived on May 19, 2011

      Paypal.. always easy for a company to take your money.

      * How long did it take to ship? So far, 2 months have passed.

      As yet has not been shipped.
      NEW: Head shipped and received on May 16, '11.

      I found Renee on Deviantart and ordered through her website from her link there. But I communicated with her on Deviantart and never had any problems.

      About a month. I got the head in late February

      Absolutely. A lovely sculpt and lovely quality.

      I had no troubles thankfully. I ordered, Renee confirmed my order on DA and I received the head in the time I was told I would receive it

      Received June 18, 2011 -- so a little over two weeks. (To me, this is amazingly fast!)

      Absolutely.

      Yes.

      I am very, very pleased. The head is truly beautiful. The details are stunning. The resin itself is a gorgeous shade.

      Good though I didn't email them myself to ask anything, it was them who wanted me to confirm my address which I find to be a really good thing.

      Item shipped on July 13th and arrived July 20th.

      very!

      Yes, altough I did believe the eyes were opened but since they're so narrow/dreamy it's no big deal.

      I have to say communication really seemed to be a weak point and I found it pretty stressful at the time!
      I didn't get any conformation e-Mails so I asked if they had received payment but never had a reply although did see they replied to people after me on the Q&A, my order was never changed on the website to reflect the fact I had paid or the item was sent (it still says payment is due!), I know they were away at HKDP 6 from the 14th-26th but I ordered before that and they only announce they were going on the 12th which was a bit last minute IMHO :sweat

      TL;DR
      there was no communication at all except to tell me how to pay and I had to ask
      It was a total surprise when the postman showed up with my package

      not the easiest, the 'pay now' Paypal button didn't work and I couldn't find the Paypal address on the site so I had to ask on Q&A which took a couple of days for a reply, but pretty standard and straight forward when I had the reply

      Arrived on 28/07/2011 so pretty quick to get here, I have no idea when they sent it though because of the lack of communication

      the quality is excellent especially for the price. The resin is beautiful, everything fits together really well and the overall casting is crisp and detailed, even the packaging is super cute :D
