Puki/Bobobie hybrid HELP!!!

I'm thinking a Bobobie tiny head wouldn't be a bad size for a Puki body but a mini head would probably be a bit too big though I'm not positive. Unfortunately I've only seen tiny Bobobies next to Pukis so far.. I'm sure there would be a better hybrid option for your little one as there are more larger tinies out there whose bodies would perhaps be more suitable. What mold is your Wenn out of curiosity?

 

I assume the puki fees are a better option seeing they're just about the same height... I also heard fairyland white resin matches with bobobie white and approximately the same with ns I believe? Definitely seen some fairyland/bobobie hybrids...

But yeah, asides from the neck connection I think it can be possible...

 

I have both an Erin and a Puki Cupid, and I would say probably not on a match. The proportions are sort of off, to me at least. I'd say a pukifee body is a better match size-wise, although if you were going for more of a lati yellow oversized-head approach, it might work.

 

I know Tinybear has put a Lati head on a Bobobie body before, so perhaps a Lati body (or Jaimedoll) would be ok?

 

Probably not as good as a Pukifee, I don't think any pose as well as Fairyland dolls but my Lati is certainly much better than the Bobobie tiny body I had for a while and I believe Jaime bodies are a bit better posing than Lati. If you compare the size of your doll's head with the Pukifee head and the Multihead that might give you an idea of compatibility. Not sure about the resin match though

 

pukipuki resin may match ,if the bobobie resin has yellowed .Fairyland white is creamer than bobobie paper white ..my white resin pukifee is quite cream now
size wise
Puki Puki body wouldnt work..unless you like the big head look ..there isnt much difference between the Puki Multi head and the bobobie head
it would look slightly oversize ..but if you like that look ..you can also try the brownie body I just adapted one for the multi head
Lati yellow ..if you dont like the posability of the Bobobie forget Lati ..there is no torso joint for one
I disagree about the Lait ..as lovely as they are ..I dont like their posability
I made my hybred boy from the bobobie body , lati head and hands rather than stick with the Lati body which is far to rigid for my taste , Jaime doll is much better ..but kicky
..Puki Fee may work ..I will take a look for you , but as KayJay put it ..nothing poses like the Fairyland bods ..perhaps the brownie body ..thats pretty amazing ..Im off down my work room now , I will go and try

 

I appologise to start with ...my hands are getting much better and I didnt want to put them under too much stress of geting the tiny head off ......I would like to say Charlie refused to let me take her head of ..this is a brownie body, very simialr to the Puki ..and it poses like a dream and the hadns dont fall off all the time LOL
if you like the tiny bobble head look ..which suits Charlie ..then yes




but the PukiFee body ...awsome

 

Forgot to add the other thing I did with my bobobie body ..I hot glue sueded it ..and wired it with pipe claeners ..it made him much more stable and he is easier to sit and stand
as I said I prefered the body to the Lati ..as its anatomically correct and has the torso joint I prefere
now at least I have a real little boy ..he stands and sits like a dream
both these dolls have Bobobie body , with the Lati hands feet and heads
when they are dressed ..you cant tell
so try glue suedeing too before you swap ..it may save you some money

but got to admit ..Puki Fee body is my favorite ..

 

Fairyland dolls are VERY durable.

Well, I mean if you dropped one off a balcony they probably wouldn't survive, but that's with any doll.

FL dolls are also very poseable, I'd get one of those. The BBB head looks wonderful on that pukifee body. : D

 

its called suedeing as you glue strips of very thin suede on the inside of of the joints ...shoulder ..inside torso , inside the ankle joints
but its easier to use hot glue ..paste it on the inside of the joints and let it dry ..this gives a key ..it stops the resin slipping ..I am going to do a turotial on my site ...when I can pin down my daughter to be myhands

 

Yeah look up at one of Tinybear's pics...the bobobie head on the PKF body that's only in socks and pink shoes
