    2. Congratulations on getting her! She is adorable and your pictures of her peering through her wrappings is too cute! I've ordered sweet little Dahlia <3 too.
Thank you so much for all the tips for shoes and clothes that will fit!
Thank you too for the comparison photo of your Mini and a BID. I had guessed that the Minis would work with the BIDs and your photo confirmed it :) . I placed my order at the beginning of September with the hope she would arrive in late November or early December. However, Canada Post letter carriers have gone out on strike so when she'll arrive is up in the air for now. :(

    3. @rosehollow Thank you! I hope my picture wasn't confusing somehow? Bids have a much larger head and a toddler body, whereas the Minis are slimmer and have a smaller head. Not quite as small as I think they should be next to the girl dolls, but still small.

    4. No, your picture wasn't confusing. It helped to see a BID beside a Mini. To me the Mini's head looks just big enough to make her a passable little sister for a BID or Raccoon Bebe. I'm planning for her to be a younger sister to my Raccoon Bebe "Smile Olive" (renamed Sarah). Their sculpts resemble each other I think or at least I hope they do.

Thanks again, I always enjoy your posts and blog :3nodding:.

Having fun testing wigs on this little cutie....

    6. She really is a little cutie <3. I can't wait for mine to arrive. She is "queued for shipping" and probably has been waiting for weeks until the Canada Post strike to be over. Thankfully it ended today! If all goes well, she will probably arrive sometime in January (needless to say there is a backlog of several million parcels to be delivered!)

    7. I hope you'll get your's soon. And I hope you will post pictures of her here. Did you chose a name yet or do you wait until she tells you who she is?

    8. I've chosen a name for her already. She'll be Holly since she was supposed to have been here for Christmas. That being said, some dolls who have come with a name I've preselected have "refused" to accept the name . They have told me who they are, and that's that. Dolls can be pretty opinionated at times!

I'll definitely be posting pictures of her and of my two Raccoon girls as well.

      Merry Christmas! :goldstar:treecookie:goldstar

    10. Great news! And I like Holly. But I know exactly what you mean. The same goes for wigs and eyes or clothes. Merry Christmas to you too!

    11. Two new girls have just been released - and one has elf ears!!! They are super cute!!! I actually like them better than the first two sculpts - they're eyes aren't as widely spaced so they look more realistic to me. I'm VERY tempted - especially as I've spent the last little while trying to make a hybrid around this size to go with my MSD Raccoondolls and it's not quite working - but I swore I was going to hold off buying dolls this year, and here it is, only January!

I do wish they're heads were slightly smaller though, I feel like if they were size 4-5" instead of 5-6" I'd like them so much better. Ah well. I hope someone else will get the new ones though, I'd love to see owner pics!

Oh yes - and it's 30% off this size, to add to the temptation!!!

In the meantime, could I request pictures, from those who own the dolls already? I’d especially like to see more next to the adult MSD Raccoondolls (or FID or Sartoriaj), or next to the 33cm Raccoondoll girls! I suppose there aren’t many owners yet but I’d love to see more!!!

    12. I'm excited to see a little elf girl! But in truth what I really wanted was an elf kid instead of an elf toddler. I really like the face on Poppy, even tho she isn't the one with elf ears. Hopefully more elf children will be released too

    13. Yes, I really like Poppy too!!! But I would also rather one of the 33cm girls got elf ears! Never mind, perhaps that's something they'll do in the future.

By the way, I requested blank pics of the new dolls heads for the Gallery, and they said they would do it next week, so that's helpful of them!

    14. OMG. I took one look at Poppy at 4am (yes that’s am) and I had to order her there and then. Acacia will be ordered next month if I can afford her (I will, I will!). I have just finished the layaway on the two Girls that I ordered and thought “no more, for a while at least”. Now look what you’ve done:lol:. I can’t wait for her.:dance Thank you all;)

    15. Congratulations on ordering her! I know what you mean, I ordered her when I first saw her five days ago. She is so cute! I couldn't resist, despite having told myself there isn't room for more dolls. Then I thought about it...for a minute or two and decided, well she is just a little doll and won't take up much space, right?

    16. Congratulations to you both!!! I really love Poppy as well, I can't wait to see owner pics when they arrive to you both!!! So far I've stayed strong and held off ordering, at least she's not limited so it can be something for the future. She is so cute though, I'm tempted every single time I look at her!

    17. Thank you! Now comes the hard part... waiting for her to come. I hope you do decide to go ahead and order her. If she's like Dahlia, she'll be even cuter in person than in her photographs.

    18. That’s what I keep telling myself, LOL, every time I buy another one! Somehow, you always have room (or make room).

I had to order Poppy on layaway so I’ve got a bit of a wait. Not as long as the one for the two GIRLs but I’ll have them arriving to keep me occupied while I wait for Poppy. I quite like the name “Poppy” and shall be keeping it as long as she lets me. She hasn’t said anything yet?. Will you be keeping her sculpt name rosehollow or changing it?

Thank you for your congrats, morganatrom.

    19. The blank head photos of Poppy and Acacia are up in the Raccoondoll Gallery - it's so great they do that if you request it! I can't tell if it's the angle but Poppy's head does look a bit smaller than Acacia's? They're both so cute though!!! I find it really helpful to see the heads blank though, especially if I'm imagining the doll with different face-up or skin colour than the promo shots. I wonder how Acacia would look with Poppy's face up?

Anyway - I'm sticking to my no-buying-new-dolls plan for now (until I put the money back in my savings account that I took out to buy dolls!) - so I'll have to hold off on either doll. So at least I don't have to agonise over which one I would like better for now! But they're definitely on my wishlist and I can't wait to see owner pics!!!
